| New college entrance examination reform is implemented in Hebei Province in 2021,which requires students to choose between physics and history. This kind of choice is related to students’ autonomous learning motivation and requires students to have certain autonomous learning ability. As one of the most significant and basic human differences, will gender differences have an impact on autonomous learning motivation? According to the search from CNKI,there are few studies on senior high school students’ physics autonomous learning motivation combined with gender differences.Exploring gender differences can effectively stimulate students’ autonomous learning motivation and improve students’ autonomous learning ability. All 264 senior three students who have chosen physics as mandatory subject in a high school in Caofeidian are selected for questionnaire survey, including 139 males and125 females.30 students are selected for in-depth interview, including 15 males and 15 females. The data are selected from the perspective of gender, and SPSS 22.0 is applied to perform an independent sample t-test on the collected data to obtain relevant results. The results show that: There are significant gender differences in physics learning motivation and the gender differences are mainly reflected in cognitive drive and egoenhancement drive, however, there is no significant gender difference in autonomous learning ability; There is a significant gender difference in learning motivation at high level students, and the gender difference is mainly reflected in cognitive drive, however, there is no significant gender difference at middle level and low level students;Exploring gender differences of senior high school students’ physics autonomous learning motivation is helpful to the implementation of the new college entrance examination policy. At the same time,it can help teachers recognize the current situation and adjust teaching strategies.Figure 0;Table 49;Reference 70... |
