In recent years,the COVID-19 epidemic has not only affected people’s mobility and consumption habits,but also driven all walks of tourism to transform and innovate.Modern urbanites have a fast pace of life and great work pressure.They are more eager to return to nature and pursue a new way of travel to restore their physical and mental health.The vigorous development of outdoor hiking tourism in the past decade has become an important choice for urbanites.At the same time,the country has promoted the development of outdoor sports tourism by promoting the integration of "sports+tourism",improving the physical fitness of the whole people,and building a global tourism demonstration area.Wugong Mountain is known as a paradise for outdoor hikers.Its unique alpine meadow and climate environment have attracted many outdoor enthusiasts across the country.The increasing flow of people and various types of tourists have brought great challenges to the operation of outdoor hiking tourism in Wugong Mountain.Based on the perspective of tourist experience,this paper attempts to explore the problems in the development of outdoor hiking tourism products in Wugong Mountain.First of all,I went to Wugong Mountain Scenic Area for field investigation,participated in outdoor hiking practice for many times,and summarized the development status of outdoor hiking tourism products in Wugong Mountain Scenic Area through face-to-face interviews with local guides,inn operators,outdoor leaders and other relevant people;Secondly,the main problems in the development of outdoor hiking tourism products in Wugong Mountain are summarized through online text analysis of tourists’ comments and in-depth interview analysis of outdoor hiking tourists,including: the management of scenic spots and products is not unified enough,supply exceeds demand in peak seasons and seasonal phenomena are obvious,pollution and damage are serious,tourist satisfaction is more affected by force majeure factors,and a single product cannot meet the needs of diversified tourists The content of entertainment activities is not characteristic.In view of the above problems,this paper conducts a SWOT analysis of the internal and external conditions for the development of outdoor hiking tourism in Wugong Mountain,further discusses the advantages of outdoor hiking tourism products in Wugong Mountain and the direction of their future development,operation and management,and puts forward targeted optimization strategies.The first is to promote the overall development and optimize the tourism management and service system in the whole region,and the second is to adhere to the sustainable concept to improve the service level of scenic spot construction,The third is to strengthen customer segmentation to promote diversified supply of tourism products.The fourth is to attract cross-border talents to build an outdoor tourism ecological chain.And put forward relevant implementation guarantee suggestions in coordination with the optimization strategy.Of course,the research on outdoor hiking tourism products is only one aspect of the construction of Wugong Mountain tourism destination and the promotion of its comprehensive value.It needs to develop in coordination with other tourism products,take ecology as the foundation,and innovation as the means to ultimately achieve the goal of sustainable and high-quality development.At the same time,it also provides reference for the development and management of outdoor hiking tourism products in other domestic eco-tourism destinations.
