Team-games-tournament(TGT)is a cooperative teaching method,with intra-group cooperative learning and inter-group competition as the main learning mode.This study aims to explore the effect of group game competition on high school students ’ basketball skills through the teaching experiment.Therefore,this paper USES the literature material method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,experimental method and other research methods.On the basis of the research summary,the hypothesis of this experiment is put forward.Through stratified sampling,the students in the first grade basketball special class of Shanghai Xingzhi High School are divided into experimental group and control group on average,and a12-week teaching experiment is carried out.By controlling the irrelevant variables,the experimental group and the control group were respectively tested by using the group game competition method and the traditional teaching method,and the experimental results were compared between groups.The differences in basketball skills,learning attitudes and physical fitness between the two groups were compared to verify the experimental hypothesisResults :(1)Between the two groups after the experiment..In basketball skills and physical ability,there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).In terms of learning attitude,there are significant differences(P <0.05)in sports cognition,initiative and extracurricular exercise between the two groups,but there are no significant differences(P > 0.05)in emotional attitude and initiative.(2)Before and after the experiment,the basketball skills of students in the experimental group had extraordinary significant differences(P<0.01).In physical ability,the experimental group had significant differences(P<0.05)in run-up touch height,and there was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between 50-meter run and1000-meter run.In addition,the positive attitude and behavioral intention of the experimental group before and after the experiment were extraordinary significantly different(P <0.01),and the negative attitude was significantly different(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)in sports cognition and extracurricular exercise.Conclusion : Compared with the traditional teaching method and the group game competition method is more conducive to improving students ’ learning attitude and basketball skills,but it has no obvious advantage in improving the physical quality of high school students.
