| The pilot work of educational reform of “diversification sports in middle schools”in Shanghai has been launched in 23 middle schools in all districts and towns of the city,and the pilot schools are under selection.From then on,the middle schools in Shanghai have been in the exploration stage of the educational reform of“diversification sports in middle schools”.It emphasizes that it should be good for inspiration and maintenance of sports interests of students when selecting curriculum contents,and special attention should be focused on the skill learning,physical development and formation of character.There should be attention to its education,fitness and diversity,and it is more suitable for the characteristics of physical and mental development of junior middle school students;so that students could have multiple practices and learning experiences.Shanghai is one of the cities in China where roller skating is introduced and popularized.Roller staking has a wide population in Pudong New Area and it is popular among teenagers.However,there are only 7 middle schools that undertake roller skating in a random survey of 86 middle schools in Pudong New Area.Based on the previous background and analysis,the author wants to figure out the undertaking of roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area with the chance to explore the influencing factors for the schools in the Area to undertake the sports and find out the problems and shortage for the schools to carry out the sports;and the feasible countermeasures would be suggested combined with the actual situation in Pudong New Area.Hence,it would push the achievement of the diversification sports in middle schools in Pudong,and it would be reference and support for the better undertaking of roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area.The paper has a study on the undertaking of roller skating and the countermeasures for the sustainable development in Pudong New Area with literature,questionnaire,expert interview,field investigation and mathematical statistics.The main contents of the study are the analysis of the current situation of the undertaking of roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area,the current situation of the students’ participation in roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area,the analysis of the teaching situation of roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area,the analysis of the satisfaction of undertaking of roller skating in the middle schools in Pudong New Area,the analysis of leaders in the middle schools in Pudong New Area on the existing problems of undertaking roller skating within the campus and the analysis of the influencing factors of the students participating in roller skating,including the factor of students’ ability,the factor of the campus environment,the factor of student’s interest,the factor of parents and the factor of cognition.There are also countermeasures for the sustainable undertaking of roller skating in middle schools of Pudong New Area.The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.Fewer schools undertaking it,fewer infrastructures,imperfect curriculum system construction,the unideal undertaking of extracurricular activity of roller skating,all of these are the specific performance of the current development situation of roller skating in middle schools of Pudong New Area.2.For students: The form to participate in roller skating is mainly based on the roller-skating development course and roller-skating community;the number and length of activities are appropriate,so the participation motivation has positivity and passivity;there is a larger proportion of students having no competition of roller skating,and some of them had been injured for the sports.3.In view of teachers: There should be optimization of the age and gender structure of teachers;lower academic degree,high level of coaches;roller skating teachers lack professionalism;lower salary of teachers;worse professional training for teachers.Hence,some roller-skating teachers are unsatisfied with the development of sports.4.As for parents: parents have lower recognition on their children participating in roller skating,which is mainly for the possible negative impact of their study and the safety;in addition,parents have no profound understanding of the sports,so they are hard to recognize their children’s participation of the sports.5.For the leaders of schools: with the worry about the decrease of enrollment rate and such psychological factors as having serious damage,relevant heads of schools would show no full support for the further development of roller skating.6.In the perspective of policy: Roller skating is not one of the required options of the united high school entrance examination of Shanghai,so it would affect the willingness of holding of school,the teaching of teachers,supports from parents and the selection of students.7.The influencing factors of the students in middle schools in Pudong New Area are the factor of students’ ability,the factor of the campus environment,the factor of student’s interest,the factor of parents and the factor of cognition. |
