| In recent years,with the continuous development of information technology,the investment of new digital technologies in the field of education has greatly changed the traditional way of learning,and people’s learning is to a certain extent free from the time and space limitations of traditional teaching models.The popularity of online education in practice continues to grow,a change that is particularly evident in higher education and has become an important form of learning for today’s college students.However,the non-fixed nature of the online learning environment in time and space,coupled with the wide range of intelligent learning terminals and the non-linear,flexible,and multi-selective state that online learning information has now taken on.It also contributes to the fact that college students’ thinking is prone to jumpiness and transience in the process of receiving online learning,and their concentration is easily scattered and shifted.As research continues,more and more scholars find that there is a strong link between concentration level and learning performance,and this link is more obvious in online learning.Therefore,analyzing the causes of concentration distraction and its influencing factors in college students’ online learning,and exploring the relationship between the influencing factors of concentration in college students’ online learning becomes an important breakthrough to improve college students’ concentration in online learning,which is of great significance to improve and optimize the effectiveness of college students’ online learning.This study is based on real-life problems and retraces its theoretical foundation,focusing on the following three core questions:①What are the factors that affect college students’ online learning concentration?②What is the mechanism of these factors on college students’ online learning concentration?③What are the methods or strategies that can improve college students’ concentration in online learning?In this paper,we use various methods such as literature research,in-depth interviews,questionnaires,and structural equation modeling method to try to solve the above questions,and the specific measures are as follows:(1)Using qualitative research methods,in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 college students who had experience in online learning,and 15 of them were selected as coding data,while the remaining 5 were used for theoretical saturation tests.This study used Nvivo11 to codify the interview data at three levels under the guidance of rooting theory,and analyzed the factors influencing college students’ concentration in online learning by combining the research results in related fields,and summarized and condensed four major factors affecting college students’ concentration in online learning:physical environment,teachers’ professionalism,learning resources,and learners’characteristics.(2)On this basis,an in-depth analysis of the factors influencing college students’concentration in online learning was conducted,and it was clarified that the influence on college students’ concentration in online learning is the result of the joint action of several factors such as physical environment,teachers’ professionalism,learning resources,and learners’ characteristics.According to the actual influencing factors,the Questionnaire on the Influencing Factors of College Students’ Concentration in Online Learning was designed,and based on this,386 college students with online learning experience were investigated and analyzed.The study showed that:physical environment,teachers’professionalism and learning resources did not have a direct and significant effect on concentration;while learner characteristics had a positive and significant effect on learning concentration;physical environment,teachers’ professionalism and learning resources in turn had a positive and significant effect on learner characteristics;and teachers’professionalism had a positive and significant effect on learning resources.(3)This study further proposed a hypothetical model of factors influencing college students’ online learning concentration,tested the hypothesis,explored the interrelationships among the factor variables,and revealed the direct and indirect effects of each variable on online learning concentration.Using the structural equation modeling method and linear regression analysis method,the path relationships among the variables were studied and analyzed,and the structural diagram of the relationship model and regression equation among the influencing factors were derived.And several optimization strategies to enhance college students’ online learning concentration were proposed.At the level of physical environment factors:one is to cultivate college students’ adaptability to the changing environment,the other is to strengthen college students’ own anti-disturbance training,and the third is to establish a learning community;at the level of teachers’professionalism,one is that teachers give students certain guidance and support in online learning,and the other is that teachers can improve their professional skills;at the level of learning resource factors,one is that the online learning resources need to be strengthened in terms of their inherent logical,interesting,interactive,and structured design of online learning resources;second,the design of resources should be as short and concise as possible to facilitate college students’ understanding and memory;third,college students’resource selection ability should be improved;fourth,college students’ knowledge management ability should be improved;at the level of college students’ characteristics,first,time management software can be used;second,the influence of their own Internet preferences should be shielded as much as possible;and third,college students’ online self-regulated learning ability should be strengthened.Third,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students’ online self-regulation learning ability. |
