| With the rapid development of world multi-polarization and economic globalization,the economic gap among countries has gradually narrowed,and the competition has become increasingly fierce.Talents and their knowledge,technology,innovation,creativity and creative spirit not only promote the development of all industries in various professional fields,but also provide many jobs to solve employment problems and generate wealth.They are the main force of consumption.With the deepening development of economic globalization,the transnational flow of human resources has become more convenient and frequent.Therefore,enterprises and countries not only need to find ways to attract foreign talents,but also pay attention to the retention and incentive of their own existing talents.Based on this background,researchers explore and study the influencing factors of China’s talents’ international immigration,which is conducive to the formulation of retention and incentive policies for enterprises and China’s excellent talents.Due to the lack of research on the influencing factors of the international migration intention of China’s outstanding talents in the existing literature,this research adopts the method of grounded theory,obtains the first-hand data through semi-structured interviews with 30 prospective groups who have successfully handled immigration,who are in the process of handling immigration and who does not handle immigration.And then collate and summarize the obtained information,repeatedly compare and screen the obtained information,and then conduct three-level coding(open coding,axial coding and selective coding).It summarizes 14 influencing factors that affect the international migration intention of talents(including:children’s education and future development,asset allocation,personal career/enterprise development,work/workplace environment,passports’ value,natural environment,housing conditions,social welfare,social inclusion,adaptation issues,immigration costs,marriage and childbirth status,alternative identity,immigration policy changes,etc.).Based on the summarized influencing factors,through the questionnaire investigation of experts in the immigration industry,scholars and relevant personnel,the influencing factors and their relationship are determined.The adjacency matrix is constructed according to the relationship between the influencing factors,and then the reachability matrix of the influencing factors is calculated.According to the reachability matrix,the hierarchical structure is divided,and then the interpretive structure model is constructed and analyzed.Based on the interpretive structure model,we find that children’s education and future development,asset allocation,personal career and enterprise development,housing conditions,immigration costs,alternative identity at the first level are the surface factors affecting the international immigration intention of talents,and these factors are the direct factors affecting the international migration intention of talents.The passports’ value,adaptation issues,immigration policy changes,work/workplace environment,natural environment,marriage and childbirth status at the second and third levels are the middle-level influencing factors of the international migration intention of talents.They directly or indirectly act on the surface influencing factors and play a huge driving role in the international migration intention of talents.Social welfare and social inclusiveness at the bottom level are the deep-seated influencing factors of the international migration intention of talents.Although they do not directly affect the international migration intention of talents,they can affect the international migration intention of talents by acting on other influencing factors.Since the surface influencing factors are the most direct influencing factors,the researcher suggest that enterprises and governments pay more attention to children’s education and future development,provide better work/workplace environment for talents,and pay attention to their personal career and enterprise development.The conclusion of this study clarifies the hierarchical relationship of various influencing factors of international migration intention of talents,expands the research on Influencing Factors of international migration intention of talents,enriches the research methods of human resource flow,and has guiding significance for management practitioners. |
