| As an important part of geography teaching in high school,how to improve the effectiveness of geography process teaching has become an urgent problem for geography educators.The effectiveness of geography course learning often needs to be supported by scientific evaluation system.As a grade description evaluation method aiming at the difference of students’ thinking structure in geography learning,thinking structure evaluation can help teachers optimize teaching design from the perspective of promoting students’ thinking development,and is of great significance for cultivating students’ geographical core literacy,improving daily geography teaching and improving the effectiveness of geography process teaching.In view of the fact that there is still a large space for improvement in the current research on the application of thought structure assessment in the teaching of high school geography process,this study will investigate the current teaching application status of thought structure assessment by questionnaire based on SOLO classification theory,Ub D theory and constructivism theory,explore existing problems,further conduct teacher interviews,and collect relevant application suggestions.Combined with the results of literature research,this paper discusses the application strategies of thinking structure evaluation in geography process teaching in high school,and carries out practical teaching with the help of specific teaching cases,and analyzes its application effect,so as to provide practical reference for geography educators to apply thinking structure evaluation in daily teaching.The paper investigates the current situation of the application of thinking structure evaluation in the teaching of geography process in high school,and finds the following problems:first,in the current teaching evaluation of geography process,the form of evaluation is monotonous,the subject of teaching evaluation is single,and the content of evaluation is more important than ability.Second,there is a lack of methods and strategies to apply the evaluation of thinking structure to the geographical process,including the general process of application,how to design a teaching problem chain suitable for measuring students’ thinking level,design scientific and reasonable teaching objectives,etc.Third,the lack of quality thinking structure evaluation application of teaching cases.To solve the above problems,the study conducted interviews with teachers from five aspects: the general process of application,the design of teaching objectives,the design of question chain,the implementation of evaluation methods,and the play of evaluation effects.Based on the results of teacher interviews and literature research,the author puts forward the overall design of learning situation and the thinking structure evaluation application strategy of "six steps and a cycle",which includes "analyzing students’ learning situation,making teaching objectives,designing question chain,developing detailed rules,practicing teaching,evaluating and analyzing,and a cycle".The "six steps" specifically include "carrying out students’ learning situation analysis to understand students’ current thinking level" "setting scientific and reasonable hierarchical teaching objectives according to learning situation" "creating problem scenarios and design core problem chains" "According to the question chain,develop a detailed evaluation scale of thinking structure and clarify the evaluation criteria" "Selecting appropriate methods to implement geography process teaching and promote the development of students’ thinking with the question chain" "Developing after-class test questions,carry out after-class diversified evaluation,and jointly analyze the evaluation results between teachers and students" "a cycle" means that the evaluation result is one of the bases for the learning situation analysis of the next teaching,constituting a teaching cycle.The study takes the chapter "Movement of the Atmosphere" in the selective compulsory course of Hunan Education Press as an example,designs relevant teaching cases,and develops pre-test paper and post-test paper for teaching practice research.Experimental research is conducted in a middle school in Nanning City.According to the results of the case implementation,it is found that before and after the experiment,the level of thinking structure of students in the experimental class is significantly improved compared with that in the control class,which indicates that the application of thinking structure evaluation in the teaching of geography process in high school can effectively promote the development of students’ thinking and improve the effectiveness of geography process teaching.At the same time,it also verifies the science and feasibility of the application strategy of "six steps and one ring" proposed by the research. |
