Language activities in kindergartens are an important part of kindergarten education,and the teaching behaviour of teachers in organising language activities has a catalytic effect on children’s language and thinking.Language is the foundation for learning other areas of the curriculum and for the overall development of children’s moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and social skills.Language activities in kindergartens help to promote children’s expressive language skills,and teachers’ teaching behaviour is one of the guarantees of the quality of language activities.There is a growing interest in teachers’ teaching behaviour in language activities.Studying teachers’ teaching behaviour in language activities helps kindergarten teachers to optimise their ow teaching behaviour and Improving the quality of language activities in kindergartens.This study is based on theories of effective teaching and learning and the optimization of teaching,and the study used literature research,interview method,and observation method to observe and record teachers’ introduction,teaching,questioning,feedback,and instructional behaviors in 30 language activities in elementary,middle,and large kindergarten classes in three public kindergartens in N.By compiling and analyzing the observed cases and collected data,and interviewing teachers and children,we further understood the actual situation of teachers’teaching behaviors in kindergarten language activities.According to the results of the study,the following problems were found in the teaching behaviour of the teachers in the kindergarten language activities:the introduction was simple and lacked relevance;the teachers were mainly lecturing and lacked impact;the teachers’ questions were ineffective and lacked validity;the teachers’ feedback was superficial and lacked specificity;and the teachers’ guidance was not properly implemented and lacked systematization.There are three main reasons why teachers’ teaching behaviour in kindergarten language activities is affected:firstly,the teachers’ own factors,including their teaching philosophy,teaching ability and professionalism;secondly,the kindergarten,including the context in which the activities are organised and the degree of importance attached to language activities by the school managers;and thirdly,the education authorities,mainly because the education authorities carry out relevant training The third is the education authorities,who have not provided much training.This study analyses the causes of the above problems in teachers’ teaching behaviour and proposes specific strategies to optimise these teaching behaviours.In the area of questioning behaviour,teachers need to correctly handle the relationship between quality and quantity of questions asked,pay attention to the flexibility of questions and ensure the fairness of the target audience;in the area of feedback behaviour,teachers need to choose feedback methods flexibly,continuously learn about feedback behaviour,and make sure that feedback Teachers need to improve children’s reading skills,strengthen their expressive skills and teach them proper listening skills.Finally,in order to promote the development of young children and improve the overall quality of kindergarten language activities,this study proposes safeguards to optimise teachers’teaching behaviour in kindergarten language activities according to the actual situation:firstly,teachers need to establish a scientific concept and improve their professionalism,be good at reflecting on teaching,and maintain the habit of lifelong learning through these measures in order to improve the teaching ability of kindergarten teachers and motivate children to learn.Secondly,kindergartens should conduct targeted workshops on teachers’ teaching behaviour in language activities in order to ensure that teachers have more time to prepare language activities;the education authorities should conduct regular training and seminars on teachers’ teaching behaviour in language activities in kindergartens in order to ensure that teachers have a direction to follow in optimising their own teaching behaviour.The education authorities need to conduct regular training and seminars on teachers’ behaviour in language activities in kindergartens in order to ensure that teachers have a direction to follow in optimising their own behaviour.
