Under the background of the reform of new curriculum standards,new textbooks and college entrance examination,the research enthusiasm of teachers has been aroused.New curriculum standard to trains the student to put forward the higher request,the ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standards(2017 edition,revised in 2020),puts forward the development of students’ literacy,core of "cognitive model" as an important component of core of chemical literacy,develop the students’ ability of "cognitive" model,to develop students "model" thinking has a great role in promoting,It is the booster for students’ perceptual thinking to rise to rational thinking."Model" can provide reference for students to solve problems in a strange environment,help students form a rigorous and meticulous scientific attitude,and make students’ thinking closer.Based on the contents of electrochemistry chapter in senior high school,this paper discusses the teaching strategies to improve students’ "model cognition" quality in classroom teaching.The electrochemistry content includes galvanic cell principle and its application,electrolytic cell principle and its application,which is a compulsory knowledge point in the college entrance examination,a key and difficult point for teachers to teach,and also a difficult point for students to learn.Electrochemistry knowledge is widely used in daily life and is closely related to life and social development.Therefore,in the process of electrochemistry teaching,teaching situation can be established in accordance with the actual life.There are many models in electrochemistry,which can well serve for teaching,so that students can learn electrochemistry based on models,reduce the difficulty of students’ learning,and enable students to better master electrochemistry knowledge.In the teaching of electrochemistry,students are trained to discover models and build models,so that students can understand the basic ideas and methods of building models,learn to use models to solve problems,and use models to speculate and learn.The development of this study promotes the development of the "model cognition" literacy of the research object,and provides ideas for students to use models in future learning.Students can construct corresponding models according to their own needs in the learning process of other contents.At the same time,it also provides feasible teaching cases for front-line teachers,who can use model teaching to improve students’ model cognitive literacy according to teaching needs.On the basis of literature analysis,this study mainly adopts the methods of questionnaire survey,interview,practical research,comparative research and data analysis.Mainly divided into four stages of implementation.First of all,taking "electrochemistry" as the theme,literature review and literature analysis found that the teaching research of electrochemistry has two directions: teaching technology innovation and new teaching concept guidance.Secondly,a questionnaire was prepared to investigate students’ understanding of "model cognition" literacy and their current literacy development level.The outline of teacher interview was prepared,and the teaching was interviewed to understand the teachers’ cognition of "model cognition" and the use of "model" in teaching.Then,the teaching design of "electrochemistry" subject based on "model cognition" accomplishment is carried out,relevant models are designed,the objects of practical research are analyzed,and the teaching practice is carried out.Finally,the teaching evaluation of "electrochemistry" unit was carried out.WPS software and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software were used to analyze the data and draw a preliminary conclusion.According to the practical research,the preliminary results are as follows:(1)After the teaching practice in the experimental class,the average score of the experimental class is 6.5 points higher than that of the control class,and the pass rate is 8.5%higher and the excellent rate is 9.4% higher,indicating that the teaching strategy adopted in this study is effective.(2)Through "T test" analysis of the evaluation data,P value =0.011,showing a significant difference,indicating that the "model cognition" accomplishment of the students in the experimental class has been improved.(3)Through the interview research of students,it can be found that students approve of the teaching method of "model" thinking.The results show that:(1)Constructing the model teaching of "electrochemistry" is beneficial for students to construct the knowledge system of "electrochemistry".(2)The teaching mode of "model cognition" cultivates students’ interest and promotes students’ comprehensive application ability.(3)The improvement of teachers’ "model cognition" accomplishment can promote the development of students’ accomplishment.
