The Ministry of Education promulgated the latest revised History CurriculumStandards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)in 2022.The new curriculum standards refine the students’ core literacy to be cultivated in the history course,design the course content based on the core literacy and big-idea,develop the academic quality standard,and put forward new requirements for evaluation and examination.Facing new challenges,teachers’ reading is one of the effective ways to cope with changes,but the current situation of teachers’ reading is not optimistic.Therefore,researching on junior high school history teachers’ reading to promote teaching design will help teachers improve their teaching design ability and it is more conducive to giving play to the educational function of cultivating the foundation and casting the soul.A questionnaire survey was conducted among some junior high school history teachers in Nanjing,Suzhou.Changzhou and Huai ’an,investigating their reading status and finding that there are some problems in teachers’ reading current situation,including low reading volume,insufficient internal driving force and relatively narrow reading scope.The main reasons are many objective environment constraints,good reading habits need to be cultivated and the reading atmosphere is not strong enough.In view of the existing problems and reasons,this paper puts forward the path of combining reading and teaching design for junior high school history teachers,which is carried out from the two aspects of strategic reading and tactical reading to help improve and optimize the teaching design.Teachers’ strategic reading includes extensive reading and habit formation,rational planning and multi-party guidance,extracting and compiling notes,and making continuous output.Teachers’ tactical reading includes based on the curriculum standard and grasping the direction,considering comprehensively and establishing the teaching conception.selecting historical materials and clarifying the logic,consolidating and expanding and effect reflection.Finally,this paper analyzes excellent cases,carries out the practice and reflection of combining personal reading with teaching design,in order to provide reference for teachers.
