In the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),the Selection of Mathematics Curriculum Content clearly states that "attention shall be paid to the forefront of subject development and mathematical culture,and the excellent traditional Chinese culture shall be inherited and carried forward." In the compilation of textbooks,some suggestions are put forward,including attaching importance to the innovation of textbooks,widening the horizons of students,and daring to break the established textbook pattern,so as to provide more materials resources and more open space for the users of textbooks.For example,in the textbook,will also involve some mathematical culture,some of the forefront of mathematical development and so on.The design of the course content should reflect the concrete application of mathematics in nature and society,represented by ancient and modern Chinese mathematicians,to show the great influence of their achievements in mathematics on human civilization,thus arousing students’ patriotism and national honor.The history of mathematics contains rich humanistic feelings and dialectical thinking,which can promote students’ physical and mental health,and make students have a better understanding of mathematics after learning.At present,the investigation and research on the present situation of the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching in primary school has both theoretical value and practical significance.This research selects the sixth grade mathematics teachers and some students of T Primary School in Nanning to investigate them,and finds out the integration of mathematics history in the sixth grade.This thesis includes the following six parts:The first part is the introduction,which describes the background of this thesis,the research purposes and significance,as well as the research ideas and research methods.The second part is the literature review.Based on the current research on the value of mathematics history education,the research on the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching,and the research on the integration of mathematics history into mathematics teaching in primary schools,this part reviews the relevant research at home and abroad,and then launches the literature review.The result shows that there are still a series of problems in the integration of mathematics history into the mathematics teaching in primary schools,which lays a foundation for the topic selection of this paper.The third part is the definition of the core concept,this content emphatically has carried on the definition from the mathematics history and the fusion two aspects.The fourth part is about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of integrating the history of mathematics into primary school mathematics teaching.This part mainly includes the collation of data and the analysis of existing problems.The following conclusions are found through the research:(1)students have a positive attitude towards the study of the history of mathematics;(2)Mathematics textbook is the main source of students’ knowledge of mathematics history;(3)Students do not pay enough attention to the history of mathematics;(4)Teachers generally hold a positive attitude towards the educational value of the history of mathematics;(5)The integration of mathematics history into teaching is affected by multiple factors;(6)Teachers’ grasp of the history of mathematics in textbooks is not firm enough.In the fifth part,the thesis puts forward some advice on how to integrate the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematics in primary school:(1)to change the teaching idea of the history of mathematics,to deepen the understanding of the value of the history of mathematics;(2)Encourage students to give lectures on the history of mathematics and develop their mathematical ability;(3)to arouse the students’ interest in learning the history of mathematics,to develop the maths ability;(4)to integrate the history of mathematics into the teaching,to improve the students’ mastery of knowledge.The sixth part is the conclusion,summarizes the research results,proposes the insufficiency and the forecast.
