Under the influence of the traditional administrative tension,in the current educational field, the administrative power still plays an important role in obtaining academic resources. The allocation of higher education resources not only related to the efficiency of micro education, but also related to the balance of macro education mode, and certain impact on the coordinated development of other social subsystems.Due to the characteristics of higher education, the administrative power has an important influence on the allocation of educational resources.Only by breaking the excessive administrative power can the administrative power serve the academic power,so as to effectively improve the allocation efficiency of educational resources. The administrative power of universities has a certain influence on the acquisition of academic resources, and the specific degree of influence cannot be obtained. How to balance the administrative power and academic power,so as to promote the quantity of academic output to the greatest extent,is a practical problem related to the sustainable development of colleges and universities in China in the future. There are relatively many macro-studies on the utility of power, but relatively few micro-utility studies of administrative power. This paper uses utility theory and resource curse theory, based on the panel data of academic output for 5 years of the dean of public management of 52 "211 Project" universities, using the tendency score matching-double difference(PSM-DID)method to explore the microutility of administrative power on academic output from the perspective of internal and external resources of the organization. The results show that the administrative power is beneficial to the academic output, and when the administrative power interacts with the internal resources, the administrative power is diluted, the administrative power is "cursed",and the organization resources are "blessed",in addition, the influence of administrative power is diminishing over time. This paper applies the utility theory and resource curse theory to the discussion of administrative power, which provides a new research perspective, theoretical basis and interpretation path for the regulation and selection of university administrative administrators. |
