Implementing core literacy is an important measure to deepen the reform of basic education.Unit teaching design,as an intermediate stage between course design and lesson design,is an effective way to implement core literacy.At present,the discussion on the core literacy of physics is gradually focusing on specific elements.The concept of physics is the foundation of the core literacy of physics,and in the process of promoting students to construct physics concepts,the implementation of the other three elements will inevitably be achieved.Therefore,integrating the above three organically and helping students to construct physics concepts from the perspective of unit design is of great significance for further implementing core physics literacy.Based on literature review,this study defines concepts such as physics concepts and unit teaching design,explores relevant theories,and summarizes the research status of physics concepts and unit teaching design both domestically and internationally,in order to form a three-dimensional understanding of the relationship between the two.Taking the concept of motion and interaction involved in Compulsory 1 of the New Education Science Edition as an example,the hierarchical structure of physics concepts and the process of students constructing physics concepts were determined,providing case support for the establishment of a unit teaching design framework in this study.At the same time,the feasibility of unit teaching design in realizing physics concept construction was also explained from the perspective of concept structure and construction process.To further explore its feasibility in practical teaching,a survey was conducted among high school physics teachers to understand their understanding of physics concepts and unit teaching design.The current practice status of unit teaching and the factors hindering the development of unit teaching design were sorted out,providing a practical basis for establishing a unit teaching design framework in this study.Based on the above research results,this study has designed a unit teaching design framework based on concept construction,which includes five links.Based on this framework,a specific unit teaching design was carried out using the unit of the concept of the relationship between motion and interaction in Compulsory 1 of the New Education Science Edition as an example,and the teaching design of the class hours under the guidance of the unit was completed.On this basis,teaching practice was carried out,and quasi experimental research methods were used to prove that designing unit teaching within this framework can promote students’ construction of physical concepts.This study explores a unit teaching design model based on concept construction through a combination of theory and practice,providing new teaching ideas and references for teachers to help students construct physics concepts and implement core physics literacy in physics teaching.
