Abstract/Summary:
As a comprehensive and practical basic course,science curriculum undertakes the important task of improving students’ scientific quality and comprehensive literacy.Rural primary schools have rich natural resources and unique humanistic environment.Relying on the natural advantages of rural primary schools to improve the management level of science curriculum in rural primary schools is not only conducive to the personalized cultivation of students,but also conducive to improving the quality of rural basic education.This study used literature,questionnaire,and interview methods to consult a large number of relevant literature on science curriculum management,conducted in-depth reading and analysis of the literature that is highly relevant to this study,and conducted a survey of the current situation of science curriculum management in three rural primary schools in A County,Ningxia.Based on a large amount of literature reading and authentic and objective first-hand data,combined with general management theories,from the perspective of institutional norms,curriculum plan management The four dimensions of curriculum implementation management and curriculum evaluation management have been studied on the management of science curriculum in rural primary schools.The study found that there are some problems in the management of science curriculum in rural primary schools,such as lack of institutional norms,unscientific management of curriculum plans,lack of systematic management of curriculum implementation,and lack of comprehensive management of curriculum evaluation.The author analyzed the reasons for the problems and found that the factors affecting the management of science curriculum in rural primary schools include:insufficient social awareness of the importance of science curriculum,lack of professional talents related to science curriculum management The relevant managers of science courses do not fulfill their responsibilities properly,and the standards of science courses are not synchronized with the evaluation mechanism.Based on the above research and analysis,this study believes that in order to improve the level of science curriculum management in rural primary schools,it is necessary to focus on the current problems,according to the causes of the problems,and work together to standardize the management of science curriculum resources,science curriculum plan management,science curriculum implementation management,and science curriculum evaluation management,improve the science curriculum management system,strengthen the introduction of scientific talents,and strengthen teacher training,Establish a sound science curriculum management organization,set realistic science curriculum goals,develop science based school-based courses,form distinctive science curriculum content and system,innovate management methods,attach importance to science curriculum evaluation,and comprehensively improve the level of science curriculum management in rural primary schools,thereby achieving a qualitative leap in the level of rural basic education.
