Since the establishment of a separate discipline for “Chinese” in the late Qing Dynasty,“Chinese Curriculum Standards(syllabuses)” has undergone a hundred years of development,and its titles have changed,including “School Constitution” “Rules for the Implementation of School Orders” “Chinese Language Curriculum Outline ”“Chinese Language Curriculum Standard” “Chinese Language Syllabus” “Literature Syllabus” “Chinese Language Syllabus”and “Language Curriculum Standard”.Among them,the nature and concept of Chinese language curriculum continue to improve and update with the development of the times.The teaching elements such as the goal and content of Chinese curriculum teaching,implementation suggestions,and so on are moving forward in a tortuous exploration,as is the evolution of the reading and writing view of Chinese curriculum standards(syllabuses)and their teaching propositions.This article intends to start from studying the evolution of the “reading and writing concept” of the junior high school Chinese curriculum standards(syllabuses),explore the evolution of the “reading and writing concept” over the past century,with a view to providing theoretical reference and practical basis for the practical teaching of the 2022 new version of “Chinese Curriculum Standards(syllabuses)for Compulsory Education(Grades 7-9)”.
