Current Population Development Status Of 28 Ethnic Minorities With Small Populations In My Countr

The ethnic minority with a small population initially refers to the ethnic minority with a population of less than 100000 and then expanded to less than 300000.Since the sixth national population census,there are 28 ethnic minorities with a small population in China,including the Russian,Daur and Drung,etc.The world settlements of ethnic minorities with small populations are mainly concentrated in the border areas of China.Due to historical reasons and geographical environment constraints,the development of each ethnic group is relatively backward,and the development degree of ethnic groups is significantly different.It is of great practical significance to study the process and direction of population development of ethnic minorities with small populations and guide the formulation of various policies in China,which will help solve the development problems of ethnic minorities with small populations,and at the same time help maintain the stability and ethnic unity of the border areas.This article is mainly based on the data of the sixth and seventh national censuses,and uses literature analysis,comparative analysis,quantitative analysis and other methods to analyze the population structure,geographical distribution,gender and age structure,and population quality of 28 ethnic groups with a small population in my country.changes in various aspects.Comprehensive conclusions are drawn:In terms of population growth,the growth rate of the 28 ethnic groups with a small population in my country is higher than the national average,and it shows a growth trend;In terms of quality,the overall gender structure is normal but there are significant differences among ethnic groups.The old-age dependency ratio is gradually increasing,the aging trend is obvious,and the level of education is still behind the national average.The proportion of the working population is also gradually increasing.In order to scientifically analyze the development and trend of ethnic minorities with small population in China,this paper selects seven specific indicators,including the proportion of the population with higher education,the average number of years of education,the total dependency ratio,the gender ratio,the urbanization rate,the proportion of non-agricultural population,and the 0-year-old child mortality rate,from the four dimensions of education level,population structure,social employment,and health level,and constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system of the population development level of 28 ethnic minorities with small population,Through the entropy weight method,each index is weighted,and the comprehensive score of each ethnic group with smaller population is finally obtained.The analysis shows that the development level of ethnic minorities with small population in China is gradually improving,but still lower than the national average level.In 2020,the comprehensive scores of the 28 ethnic groups with a small population,Gaoshan and Tatar,were the highest,exceeding 70 points.The Deong ethnic group has the lowest comprehensive score and relatively the slowest development.
