With the rapid development of economy and technology as well as the continuous improvement of education level,art education teaching has also been highly valued by the society,but the difference in art teaching in urban and rural junior high schools has not been improved in many aspects.This study investigates the overall situation of art curriculum teaching in a total of eight junior high schools in Linhe District and Shanba Town in Bayannur City,Inner Mongolia.And it focuses on the current situation of art teaching in two of these junior high schools for comparative analysis to find out the differences and problems in art teaching in urban and rural junior high schools.On this basis,the study puts forward suggestions that can promote the balanced development of art teaching in urban and rural junior high schools in Bayannur City,in the hope that it can help the development of junior high schools in both areas.The study is divided into four sections: an introductory section which deals with the background,purpose,significance,current status,methodology and definition of concepts of the study;in the first chapter,after introducing the basic situation of urban and rural areas in Bayannur,the current situation of teaching art courses in eight junior high schools in urban and rural areas is analysis,and the current situation of art teaching in two junior high schools in urban and rural areas is selected for comparative analysis;the second chapter identifies the common problems and differences between urban and rural The second chapter identifies common problems and differences in the development of art teaching in junior high schools in both urban and rural areas: in terms of teachers,curriculum,teaching and learning,and the different degrees of importance attached to the art subject,and analyses the reasons for the problems.The third chapter focuses on the problems in art teaching in urban and rural junior high schools in Bayannur,and makes referable suggestions in terms of promoting the optimal development of the teacher team,enriching the teaching content of the art curriculum,and focusing on the simultaneous development of teaching and learning.Finally,to conclude,promoting the balanced development of art education and teaching in urban and rural junior high schools in Bayannur city requires not only the attention of schools and teachers,but also the common concern and support of all sectors.
