| Data analysis literacy is one of the six core literacy of mathematics subject proposed in the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition).With the rapid development of big data technology,data analysis literacy has gradually become a necessary literacy for people standing firmly in the new era.However,how to cultivate high school students’ data analysis literacy has become a hot issue in the field of mathematics education research.In this case,the DELC teaching model provides a new idea for this.Therefore,based on the analysis of the current situation and cultivation of high school students’ data analysis literacy,this study will investigate the teaching strategies and implementation paths of cultivating high school students’ data analysis literacy based on the DELC teaching model and test its effectiveness.In accordance with relevant literature review,a data analysis literacy test paper for high school students,a questionnaire for training situation,and an outline of teacher interviews are compiled,these are also applied to the investigation and research of high school students’ data analysis literacy.The data from tests and questionnaires is analyzed,and the interview content is sorted out to drawn the following conclusions: A moderate or lower level for the overall level of data analysis literacy of high school students is shown,the differences in the three dimensions of collecting and organizing data,understanding and processing data,and obtaining and interpreting conclusions are shown,the positive correlation between the two is shown;and the different differences between different gender,class,and academic achievement groups are presented.Students’ attitudes,classroom implementation situation,and teaching methods can influence the cultivation of high school students’ data analysis literacy.At present,the problems such as insufficient attention of teachers,low interest of students,less use of information technology,lack of process evaluation,and insufficient implementation of practical activities are found to mainly exist.In accordance with most of the interviewed teachers,the cultivation of high school students’ data analysis literacy based on the DELC teaching model is feasible.In view of the above conclusions,the teaching strategies for the cultivation of high school students’ data analysis literacy based on the DELC teaching model are proposed,such as quality-oriented design,situational creation to stimulate interest,technology application to arouse thinking,process evaluation to promote motivation,and practical activities to increase experience.On the basis of the proposed teaching strategy,the specific steps of the DELC teaching model are referred to construct the statistical unit teaching process,design the classroom teaching process,and take the statistical unit as the teaching content for practical testing,and the concrete teaching examples are given.The practical testing is conducted to find that the teaching strategies and implementation paths put forward based on the DELC teaching model can achieve good effect on the improvement of the data analysis literacy of high school students.Therefore,the reference can be provided for relevant theoretical research and teaching practice based on the research. |
