Abstract/Summary:
The textbook follows the philosophy of "people-oriented" education and builds a"three-in-one" reading system from "teaching reading" to "self-reading" and then to"reading outside the classroom"."It emphasises the subjectivity of students and the development of their reading skills.The editors have set up different reading aids for the two different types of texts: "teaching reading" and "self-reading",which provide a series of reference materials for teaching and learning,and help to improve teachers’ teaching effectiveness and students’ independent learning ability.The thesis takes the fiction reading aid system in junior secondary language textbooks as the object of study.Based on the actual situation of front-line teachers and students using the fiction reading aid system and the results of a questionnaire survey,the thesis proposes corresponding application strategies in order to bring out the best value of the reading aid system.The thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the origin,value,current situation and methodology of the research.The second part is an overview of the novel reading aid system.Through a comparative study,it analyses the specific contents of the novel reading aid system in the Humanities and the Ministry of Education,explains the characteristics and writing features of the novel reading aid system in the Ministry of Education,and summarises the application value of the novel reading aid system in the Ministry of Education.In the third part,the current situation of the use of the novel reading aid system is summarised,taking into account the results of interviews and questionnaires from teachers and students.At the teacher level,teachers are not very aware of the use of the fiction reading aid system,they have an empirical approach to teaching fiction,and they use the reading aid elements in a single way.At the student level,students are less aware of the fiction reading aid system,less aware of its use,less autonomous in their learning,and less able to transfer their learning.In the fourth section,four strategies are proposed to address the problems in the use of the reading aid system:firstly,to pay attention to the reading aid system and strengthen the awareness of its use;secondly,to rely on the teaching reading aid system to master the reading method;thirdly,to rely on the self-reading reading aid system to strengthen the transfer ability;and fourthly,to make good use of the reading aid elements to bridge the classroom and beyond.The fifth part is the conclusion,emphasising the innovative point of the thesis,which is to improve the teaching of teaching reading novels and self-reading novels through the reading aid system,so as to achieve the purpose of changing from teacher-led learning to students’ self-learning,and to improve students’ self-learning ability and reading transfer ability,hoping to provide some reference for the effective use of the novel reading aid system.
