Under the background of new media,the increasingly diversified,open and convenient modern reading media surroundings gradually intensifies people’s demand for information mastering,learning and communication mode fragmentation,which objectively provides a "hotbed" for the continuous evolution of fragmented reading.The phenomenon of fragmented reading among college students comes into existence with the help of such network environment and scientific and technological progress.As of its advantages of being "short,concise" and not limited by time and space,it is more in line with contemporary college students’ demand for scholarship and information acquisition.Although college students are the most sensitive and active group,they can accept and adapt to fresh things and ideas faster,their physical and mental development is still unstable in general.Their life experience,social status and expectations for society is diverse and idealized,and their value judgment and choice of things are also easily affected.Generally speaking,under the background of increasingly complicated and globalized network new media era,the values of college students will be affected by many internal and external factors,and the plasticity of their values is gradually emerging.Thus,it is important to cultivate the correct values of college students.Founded on the existential research,this paper took the impact of fragmented reading on the values of college students as the main line,finds out the cases and analyzes the causes with the help of empirical investigation,in command to providing theoretical support and the material reference for strengthening the cultivation of values of college students.The newspaper consists of 5 parts: the first part is the presentation,which mainly refers to the background and significance of the topic,integrates and combs the relevant domestic and foreign research reviews,and lays a solid theoretic research foundation for the writing of this newspaper.The second part elaborated related concepts such as the new media era,fragmented reading and college students’ values,and learns the theories such as Xi Jinping’s theory of youth education,metacognitive reading theory,Marx’s theory of human needs and other theories to systematically understand and grasp the relevant research content and theoretical basis.The third part,through empirical investigation,further grasps the read status of fragmented reading of college students and analyzes the causes.The fourth part means to make a scientific and comprehensive analysis of the influence of fragmented reading and college students’ values from a dialectical point of view.In the fifth part,based on the negative impact of fragmented reading on college students’ values,effective optimization strategies are formulated to guide college students to establish correct values.College students are the hope and future of the country and must shoulder the great mission of realizing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Their daily reading behavior should be paid more attention to.Therefore,it is incumbent on people of all social classes to create a clear network environment,promote mainstream values,help college students to deal with fragmented reading comprehensively,rationally and objectively,and guide college students to set up correct values.
