In the teaching of novels in junior high school Chinese,character images are an important content.Although the field of Chinese education in junior high schools has worked hard for many years,there are still problems in the current teaching of novels in junior high schools,such as the lack of comprehensive and in-depth analysis of character images.How to help students effectively analyze novel characters is a problem that still needs to be solved in the teaching of novel characters.Mind mapping as a simple and effective auxiliary teaching tool,it has the characteristics of visualization,structured,divergent,which can help students analyze novel characters from multiple perspectives and levels.Applying mind map to the teaching of novel characters in junior high school is conducive to expanding the breadth and depth of students’ thinking,thereby achieving the goal of improving their corresponding abilities.This thesis is based on the application of mind mapping to The teaching of junior middle school characters in the novel.The core of this thesis is the relationship between "mind mapping" and "character image teaching in junior high school novels".In specific teaching,researchers use methods such as practical research to design teaching plans based on curriculum standards,textbooks,and learning situations,and then carry out specific teaching activities.After that,relevant practical results are sorted out and research conclusions are drawn.The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter sorts out the research background,research purpose,research content,research significance,and innovation of the paper,and explains the feasibility of applying mind mapping to the teaching of character images in junior high school novels.The second chapter defines related concepts such as mind mapping and fictional character images,and combs the current research status of mind mapping and fictional character image teaching at home and abroad,identifying research deficiencies,and proposing urgent issues to be addressed.The third chapter is the specific research design part of the paper.It mainly designs the research object,research ideas,research framework,research methods,research tools,etc.The fourth chapter demonstrates the relevant design through teaching practice.The researcher understands the students’ learning situation through pretests,assignments,interviews,and questionnaires,and conducts targeted teaching practices based on the problems found in the learning situation survey.Guide students to analyze character images from multiple perspectives through the practice of applying mind mapping to the teaching of novel character images;Through the use of mind maps,guide students to summarize the character images.In order to achieve the goal of improving students’ ability to analyze novel characters.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Based on teaching practice,summarize effective experiences in the design and practice of mind mapping,,and further develop teaching improvement plans.
