The attention of society to CUBAL basketball players is growing rapidly,and the concern groups range from college students themselves to all walks of life in sports.The reason for this is that the competitive level of China University Basketball League(CUBAL)is getting higher and higher,and there are many elite athletes who are developing towards the professional path.However,the disparity between the teams of colleges and universities in the various grassroots competitions of college high-level basketball is obvious,which also indicates that the athletes’ own physical reserves are not enough,which hinders the development of the teams themselves.Therefore,improving physical training methods,enhancing physical training efficiency,and enriching and strengthening the physical reserve of CUBAL basketball players are the keys to narrowing the gap between teams.In this paper,the experimental application of pattern training method to the physical fitness training of CUBAL basketball players was studied by using observation method,questionnaire survey method,literature method,experimental method and mathematical statistics method to construct universal task goals and develop corresponding physical fitness training programs with reference to the data indicators of outstanding athletes.Using the experimental method,14 athletes of Shandong Agricultural University men’s basketball team were divided into two groups and conducted physical training in different ways for 8 weeks to demonstrate that the experimental group physical training method was more effective than the control group conventional training method.The main findings of the study were as follows.(1)Through the results of the experimental group,it is clear that the pattern training method is feasible to be applied to the physical training of CUBAL basketball players.(2)From the viewpoint of physical fitness indexes and special technical indexes,the experimental group had great progress in five physical fitness indexes,namely,barbell bench press,weighted squat,3/4 court sprint,15×17 folding run and restricted area foot movement,with highly significant differences,while the control group only had significant progress in three physical fitness indexes,namely,barbell bench press,3/4 court sprint and 15×17 folding run,with significant There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group;there was a highly significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.(3)From the perspective of the experimental group and the control group after training,there were significant differences in the five physical fitness indexes such as barbell bench press,weighted squat,3/4 field sprint,15×17 folding run and restricted area foot movement,i.e.,the experimental group improved more than the control group;the experimental group improved more than the control group in the full-field offensive and defensive technical indexes,and there were significant differences.(4)The experimental post-test results of the two groups were compared with the task objectives formulated by using the index scores of CUBAL excellent athletes as the model,only two index scores of the experimental group improved significantly,and only one index score of the control group was slightly higher.Horizontally,the experimental group’s physical training methods were more effective than the control group’s physical training methods;vertically,innovative training methods and rich training concepts make physical training more applicable to athletes themselves in order to make general athletes closer to excellent athletes.
