Research On Folk Authority In Folk Sports

This article takes the authority phenomenon in folk sports as the research object,and the dragon boat race in the Han River area as the field investigation object.With the background of rural revitalization strategy,combined with social public governance theory and Weber’s authority theory,the internal connection between the inheritance of folk sports and rural revitalization is analyzed from the perspectives of sociology and anthropology.The article also attempts to clarify the action logic of the "fourth type of authority" in rural society and folk sports activities.By analyzing the authority phenomenon in the entire folk sports,the social relationship between folk sports and social governance as well as folk authority is revealed,and the integration and development issues of folk sports,folk authority and rural society are discussed As a prosperous area in the Chu region,Han River provides excellent conditions for the development and promotion of local dragon boat races,and the dragon boat race customs in the Han River area contain profound historical and cultural values and reflect complicated social operation mechanisms.Based on this,this article uses the historical materials and notes available to analyze the overview of the Han River area,and selects two Han River literati,Ye Diaoyuan and Fan Kai,for in-depth exploration.Through this comparative research,the role of folk authority in folk sports and its impact on social order are explored.Research shows that folk sports belief culture and ritual culture are the concrete expressions of collective consciousness and individual action in rural society,and an important way to participate in rural governance by constructing both the spirit and body.The competition and cooperation among members within villages,as well as the conflicts and integration of external factors,are the main manifestations of competitive folk authority in the process of ritual folk sports.The internal mechanism of the integration of folk sports,folk authority,and rural social governance is formed at the intersection of rural social governance and the ultimate goal of the "fourth kind of authority".Research conclusions indicate that the"fourth kind of authority" is an optimized mode of "old folk authority" in the new era and is necessary for the current development of grassroots autonomy.Folk sports culture embodies the "root" of traditional culture and is also the external manifestation of collective consciousness in grassroots society.Therefore,combining the concept of the "fourth kind of authority" with the full exploration of the social governance role of folk sports is not only an effective way to increase social governance channels and promote the integration and development of folk sports and rural society,but also can cooperate with formal systems to ease the contradictions that arise in social governance,promote the autonomy of villagers,and form a diverse participation of subjects and cultures,as well as a democratic and interactive governance situation.This is not only an effective way to increase social governance channels and promote the integration and development of folk sports and rural society,but also embodies the reality of our concern for the contemporary revitalization of Chinese villages and the continuation and inheritance of folk sports culture.Rural society is the source of traditional folk sports culture.For thousands of years,the vast majority of the people have nurtured countless outstanding traditional cultures on this land,showcasing historical memories and reproducing historical scenes during festivals and celebrations,which is the key to the continuation of history.Currently,the state’s emphasis on traditional culture is increasing,and folk sports as a representative of rural society culture should receive more attention.Rural reconstruction should not only be a reform in economic and institutional aspects,but more importantly,cultural revitalization.This is the core of rural social development and stable order.Therefore,we need to keep up with the times,constantly explore the huge cultural value contained in rural society,make full use of folk sports as a traditional cultural activity,thoroughly explore the social effects of folk sports,solve the problem of rural cultural inheritance,promote national identity and cultural confidence,further improve the integration mechanism of culture,locality and country,implement the rural revitalization strategy,and achieve the great development of rural society.
