With the continuous development of national economy and the gradual improvement of the level of education,in the new period to improve the national quality and talent training quality put forward the new requirements,construction has become the core literacy to guide the future the main development direction of education reform in China,Cultivating students’ subject core literacy in basic geography education has become the inevitable requirement of curriculum reform.Organically integrating the history of science into the geography teaching in senior high school,In particular,the education of the history of geography science is one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ core literacy of geography,improve their comprehensive quality and fulfill the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating human beings.Meanwhile,the education of the history of science helps students to develop their spirit of scientific research and humanistic spirit.Using the method of literature research,this paper defines the concepts of the history of science,the history of geographical science and the teaching of the history of geographical science,and makes it clear that it is supported by the theories of recurrence theory,constructivism learning theory,scientific essence theory and genetic cognition theory,which provides a theoretical basis for the future research and implementation of teaching design.Through reviewing the research status at home and abroad,it is found that the practical research on the teaching of the history of science is still less than the theoretical research,which needs to be further strengthened.Using the method of text analysis,this paper combs and integrates the materials of the history of Science in the first and second volumes of senior high school geography compulsory books of Hunan Education Edition,and explains the value of integrating history of science into senior high school geography teaching: highlighting the characteristics of geography and cultivating students’ geographical thinking;Excavate deep principles and deepen students’ understanding;Change teaching logic and enhance inquiry ability.Based on the existing teaching mode of history of science,combined with the characteristics of geography,this paper constructs the teaching mode of history of geography science,and puts forward the specific implementation strategies of history of Geography Science Teaching: selecting appropriate teaching materials of history of science;Repeat the process of scientific development and cultivate students’ scientific thinking;Fully demonstrate scientific conclusions and develop students’ critical thinking;Give play to the educational value of scientific history and cultivate scientific spirit.Based on this,the relevant contents are selected for teaching design.Apply instructional design to specific teaching practice.Two ordinary classes were selected as the experimental class and the control class to carry out the curriculum implementation activities,and the teaching effect of the teaching of history of science was tested from the aspects of examination results,teachers’ evaluation of courses,students’ perception and so on.The research shows that the integration of history of science into geography teaching helps to improve students’ enthusiasm and initiative;It helps to enhance students’ logical thinking and scientific inquiry ability;It helps to cultivate students’ scientific spirit.
