Research On The Current Situation And Improvement Strategy Of Children In Rural Communities

Children are the nation’s future and its greatest hope,and it is everyone’s duty and desire to ensure that they grow up healthy and happy.The traditional rural family structure has been disrupted by the recent acceleration of urbanization,as has the number of left-behind children in rural areas,where youngsters lack self-protection awareness and are exposed to hazards.The government of my nation and numerous academics are concentrating on investigating and effective children’s protection pathways.Practice has demonstrated that insufficient family and school forces are necessary to ensure children’s healthy growth.The community’s distinctive benefits have gradually come to light against this backdrop.Establishing connections between governments,families,and schools while using the community as the foundation can help you reach the aim of having everyone in society take part in children’s safety.Child directors,parents,and local child protection staff members served as the research subjects for this study,which was based on the existing state of child protection services in the x community of J city.To investigate the current child protection services in the x community,pertinent data was gathered using questionnaire surveys and semi-structured interviews.It was discovered that while it disclosed numerous flaws,it also produced some service results.The author examines child protection services in rural communities from three perspectives,including family,community,policy,and social culture,using the ecological systems theory as a framework.Professional staff have a hazy understanding of who they are,insufficient professional skills,a dearth of professional talents,low recognition of social work by residents,and a low rate of use of children’s homes.Weak policy support,insufficient personnel system protection,and a lack of a protective culture for the entire society are also issues.According to the author,efforts can be made from three aspects of the ecosystem where children in rural communities are located in order to address the shortcomings of services:at the micro level,improving parents’ awareness of their guardianship responsibility and ability,and creating a community family protection environment;Clarify identities and functions at the meso level;explore the development of abilities;improve professional literacy;boost the promotion and acceptance of information in social work;cooperate to maintain the smooth operation of children’s homes and learn from past mistakes;At the macro level,improve institutional guarantees,increase financial support,and strengthen government support.Pay particular attention to social force development and supervisory system improvement.There is still much work to be done in the area of child safety in rural communities,which has only recently begun and lacks expertise.This study is intended to advance the growth of child protection work in rural communities and offer some research suggestions for community child protection.
