Research On "Chai’s Tongbeiquan"

In recent years,the "protagonist status" of competitive martial arts and the strong invasion of western sports ideas have made traditional martial arts have an unprecedented impact,and the phenomenon of polarization between competitive martial arts and traditional martial arts has gradually appeared.Chai’s Tongbei Quan is a traditional martial arts that originated in Shanxi.This boxing has declined since the 1980 s and 1990 s and has not been properly protected and inherited.The research on Tongbei Quan’s boxing spectrum is of great significance to the development of the boxing style.As the direct basis for the study of the boxing style,the boxing spectrum provides a new research direction for the study of Tongbeiquan.This research takes Chai’s Tongbei Quan style and "Chai’s Tongbei Quan" manuscript as the breakthrough point,and analyzes and sorts out the boxing spectrum and related important materials.Using literature,interviews,field surveys and other research methods to go deep into the birthplace of the boxing style,dig and sort out the development and inheritance of Chai’s Tongbei Quan,and summarize and analyze the basic techniques of the boxing style;use the method of logical analysis to analyze the boxing spectrum The content is further sorted out and researched;the relationship,similarities and differences between Chai’s Tongbeiquan,Tongbeiquan,Tongjiquan and Tongbeiquan are analyzed by the method of comparative analysis.By sorting out and analyzing the boxing manuals of "Chai’s Tongbei Boxing",it is found that as the birthplace of Tongbei Boxing,Hejin City has a lack of materials that can support the circulation of this boxing manual and boxing style.Unable to confirm at the moment.The Chai family did not pay enough attention to the boxing style.When the martial arts were excavated and organized,they did not re-transcribe the boxing manuals when they contributed to the country,and did not leave any materials that could support the inheritance.And so few,that Chai’s Tongbeiquan is on the verge of extinction.In today’s peaceful age,Chai’s Tongbei Quan has developed slowly because of its speciality in martial arts.According to the analysis of technical movements,movement names and relevant literature data,the study concluded that there is no correlation between Chai’s Tongbei Quan and its similar pronunciations "Tongbei","Tongji" and "Tongbei".In addition,during the investigation,it was found that there may be multiple manuals of "Chai’s Tongbei Quan".In addition to the boxing manuals of Northern Shaolin martial artists studied in this paper,there are also manuals in Baodi,Tangshan,Zunhua and Yutian in Tianjin and Hebei.There may also be a boxing score with the same name.Chai’s Tongbeiquan may be a relatively large system,which needs further investigation and research.
