| Objective: This study evaluated the actual fitness effects of high and low posture eight-method and five-step taijiquan exercises by measuring the body shape, physical quality and physiological function before and after 16 weeks of exercise. It provides a theoretical basis for guiding college students to choose the eight-method and five-step taijiquan exercises with reasonable intensity. Methods: Through the methods of literature, physical test, experiment and mathematical statistics, the eight methods and five steps of taijiquan training in different poses were taken as independent variables, and the indexes related to the fitness effect of students were taken as dependent variables.A total of 62 2020 students from a university in Nanchang were selected as experimental subjects, including 30 boys and 32 girls. They were divided into two groups:group A,group B and control group without exercise intervention. The body shape(body weight,BMI index, thigh circumference, waist circumference, hip circumference,waist-hip ratio),physical fitness(standing on one foot with eyes closed, sitting forward, standing long jump)and physiological function(lung capacity)of male and female students in the three groups were compared before and after the experiment.Descriptive analysis was used for experimental data, and one-way an OVA was used between groups.Results:(1)The body shape level of college students in experimental group B was improved to a certain extent. The body weight,BMI index and thigh circumference of male students in experimental group B were decreased significantly(P<0.05).Experimental group A and control group of male body morphology indicators were improved but no significant change. The body weight,BMI and hip circumference of experimental group B were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Experimental group A and control group of female body morphology indicators were improved but no significant change.(2)The physical quality of low frame test group B was improved to A certain extent. The performance of boys in test group B in standing long jump and sitting body bending was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the performance of boys in test group A in standing on one foot with eyes closed was significantly improved(P<0.001).The other physical fitness indexes were improved but not significantly, but there were no significant changes in the physical fitness indexes of boys in the control group. In group B,the performance of standing long jump was significantly improved(P<0.05),the performance of standing on one foot with eyes closed was significantly improved(P<0.005),and the performance of sitting forward flexion was significantly improved(P<0.001).Although the physical quality indexes of girls in group A and control group were improved, there was no significant change.(3)Lung capacity of male and female in experimental group and control group was increased, but there was no significant change(P>0.05).(4)After the experiment, there was no significant difference in the indexes of the three groups of boys(P>0.05),but there were significant differences in the indexes of hip circumference and standing long jump among the three groups of girls(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)16 weeks elevated eight five steps of taijiquan exercise on college students’ fitness effect is not obviously promote effect, lower frame eight method five steps of taijiquan teaching courses on college students’ overall level of fitness has improved effect, suggest the five step of eight students in tai chi exercises should choose low exercises, can achieve a good fitness effect;(2)The low-frame eight-method and five-step Taijiquan exercise can effectively improve the hip circumference and lower limb strength of female college students, and has a better effect on female college students, suggesting that the low-frame eight-method and five-step Taijiquan exercise has a better fitness effect than that of male students. |
