Abstract/Summary:
The smooth transition from kindergarten to primary school will face huge changes in learning and life,which will put new pressures and challenges on young children.At this point,maturation of school readiness will affect their ability to adapt to their new roles.Family learning environment is one of the first learning environments that young children are exposed to after birth,and young children can be affected by subtext.Therefore,the construction of a quality home learning environment will play an important role in the development of children’s school readiness.The study focuses on the impact of urban and rural family learning environment differences on children’s school readiness.Eighty families were selected from both urban and rural areas.The status quo of children’s school readiness was tested by the test method,and the family learning environment was investigated by the questionnaire method.To explore the status of school readiness,family learning environment and urban-rural differences,and further analyze the impact of urban and rural family learning environment on children’s ability to prepare for school.After analyzing the results of the study,it is found that,in general,the ability of children to prepare for school is well developed.There are differences in the development of children in different dimensions,among which the visual perception ability of children is the best,motor coordination ability and mathematical preparation ability are relatively deficient.There are significant differences in school readiness between urban and rural areas and between young children.The total school readiness of urban children is significantly higher than that of rural children.Except in the dimension of motor coordination ability,rural children are better prepared than urban children,and in all other dimensions,urban children are better prepared than rural children.Secondly,from the point of view of home learning environment,the city scores are significantly higher in all dimensions than rural areas.Further exploring the relationship between urban and rural family learning environment and children’s school readiness,it is found that all dimensions of family learning environment are related to children’s overall school readiness scores,and the return of urban and rural family learning environment to children’s school readiness level is found to have a strong interpretation.Based on the results of this study,1.the author puts forward the following suggestions to improve the family learning environment to improve the level of school readiness of young children:2.Fully tap and utilize learning resources to promote the development of school readiness of rural young children;3.Using their own environmental advantages to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural ECM capacities;4.Strengthening rural infrastructure and building child-friendly villages.
