| Extracurricular activities are an important part of students’ study and life,an important supplement of subject courses,and play an important role in students’ overall development and personality development.Based on rural education,rural schools shoulder the important mission of rural revitalization.The development of extracurricular activities in rural primary schools plays a key role in the development of rural students.However,with the progress of urbanization,extracurricular activities in rural primary schools are more and more similar to those in urban areas,and tend to be unified and standardized.In this process of development,rural primary schools gradually divorced from their own rural background,blurred urban-rural boundaries,resulting in rural schools and urban areas are not smooth,and lost their own characteristics.This paper takes Jimo district rural primary schools as an example to conduct in-depth research on extracurricular activities in rural primary schools.Combined with the research on extracurricular activities at home and abroad,through literature research method,interview method,observation method,narrative research method to sort out the difficulties of rural primary school extracurricular activities,on this basis,explore the deep causes of the difficulties,and put forward the main measures to improve the development of rural primary school extracurricular activities.Through the research,we find that the main difficulties of extracurricular activities in rural primary schools are ambiguous objectives of extracurricular activities;The content is fragmented and disordered;The connotation is far away from "local";Time to give way to "exam";Weak guidance;The process is flashy.The reason lies in the cognitive deviation of school,parents and students to extracurricular activities."Utilitarian" education still exists;Rural teachers lack of local knowledge;The local "indigenous culture" is gradually fading;Lack of awareness of teachers and students’ participation;Content objectives are out of touch with students’ reality.Based on the characteristics of the countryside,this paper puts forward some measures to improve the extracurricular activities in rural primary schools from both inside and outside the school.Strengthen process management and improve activity effectiveness;Strengthen the construction of teachers,enhance professional consciousness;Integrate a variety of resources,enrich the connotation of activities;Strive for support from outside the school and exert collaborative strength.In order to promote the high quality and efficient development of extracurricular activities,better to achieve the purpose of education. |
