| The research was carried out through a mixed research methodology using interviews,questionnaire and document analysis.Questionnaires were checked and edited in the evenings after the full collection of answers for consistency and accuracy.Responses translated from Arabic to English and were then entered into the computer after all the fieldwork were edited and coded.Answers for questionnaires were listed and assigned numbers through developing categories and assigning corresponding value labels to each question which information was then coded.Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS)software programThe motivation behind this thesis is to recognize and investigate the factors associated with high paces of learning poverty in rural areas,featuring the need to set up the fundamental abilities required for primary school students for the future through strengthening the learning provided in rural areas.Modernize teaching method and educational practices.There is a need today more than ever before to tackle the gap faced by students in their interaction between home language(Darija)and language of instruction(MSA).This thesis additionally noticed the need to use innovation to improve teachers professional development through adequate training,advance learning,and increment the skills associated to Ed Tech,all of which have become dire on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.Exploring the national strategies,and policies already in place,the researcher proposes a path for advancing the delivery of literacy through investment in early childhood education,and exposing children earlier to MSA,assembling a scaffolding between children’s bank of knowledge in the local Dialect and Modern Standard Arabic,Provide an adequate support to struggling readers,particularly in the early grades,Provide Continues Support for Teachers through pre-service and Inservice Professional Development,Set clear guidance for reading progression in light of the science behind reading,and involving Technology can be a key player... |
