In the process of Chinese learning,we usually refer to reading teaching,which generally focuses on the teaching of selected articles in classroom teaching materials,which is beyond doubt,but reading teaching should also include extracurricular reading teaching.Learning Chinese well depends not only on in class,but also on out of class.However,under the influence of exam oriented education,educators generally do not pay attention to extracurricular reading teaching.Such reading teaching is "half" and incomplete.Wen Rumin attaches importance to extracurricular reading teaching and puts forward many suggestions and views on extracurricular reading teaching.Using the research methods of literature research,content analysis,systematic induction and comparative analysis,This thesis summarizes the teaching thought of extracurricular reading in Wen Rumin’s Chinese education thought,and puts forward practical extracurricular reading teaching strategies to provide guidance for extracurricular reading teaching in middle school.This thesis is divided into two parts: introduction and body.The introduction mainly explains from four aspects: research purpose and significance,research status and development trend,research objects and methods,and the definition of related concepts.The main body includes three chapters.The first chapter is the formation basis of Wen Rumin’s extracurricular reading teaching view.The formation basis of Wen Rumin’s extracurricular reading teaching view mainly includes two aspects: theoretical basis and practical basis.It is not only the product of the times,but also the product of individual practice.Wen Rumin’s outlook on extracurricular reading teaching comes from practice and is applied to practice,and has been continuously improved and developed in practice.The second chapter is Wen Rumin’s view of extracurricular reading teaching.Based on the full study of Wen Rumin’s works,papers,interviews,lectures and other articles,this chapter combs and summarizes Wen Rumin’s outlook on extracurricular reading teaching.Wen Rumin believes that to improve students’ interest in reading and improve their reading status of "reading less and not reading",on the premise of putting reading in the first place,we should not only rely on "seeds" and "ox nose",but also include students’ reading status into the evaluation.The third chapter is the implementation of Wen Rumin’s extracurricular reading teaching view in reading teaching practice.It mainly includes two aspects: the implementation principles and implementation strategies of Wen Rumin’s extracurricular reading teaching view.Firstly,it puts forward the implementation principles of extracurricular reading teaching from three aspects: Reading First,interest premise and connection inside and outside class.Secondly,it puts forward the implementation strategies of extracurricular reading teaching from two aspects of students and teachers,Students should read more classics and cultivate their self-cultivation.Read more "idle books" and activate your thinking.Read the whole book and form a good reading habit.Students should also realize the connection of reading inside and outside class,so as to form the reading mode of "teaching reading-self reading-extracurricular reading".Teachers should update the concept of reading teaching.Chinese teachers should first be the "seed of reading",so as to be the guide of students’ extracurricular reading and improve students’ interest in extracurricular reading.Although extracurricular reading is important,it is difficult to implement in teaching.Therefore,teachers should incorporate reading into teaching evaluation,and adopt the combination of students’ self-evaluation,parents’ comments,students’ mutual evaluation and teachers’ evaluation to urge students to read.Extracurricular reading is the main way for middle school students to absorb nutrients and improve Chinese reading ability and Chinese literacy.I hope this study can provide some reference for the implementation of extracurricular reading teaching in middle school.
