| In recent years,China’s urbanization has developed rapidly.On the one hand,the radiation effect of cities has driven the social and economic development of suburban villages;on the other hand,the frequent flow of urban and rural population and the expansion of urban construction land have brought new problems and challenges to suburban villages.Urbanization has changed the original living conditions and living environment of residents in suburban villages,and the relationship between "people" and "land" has changed.The adaptation of residents to the new environment and the resulting emotional changes and differences in attitudes and behaviors cannot be ignored.In this context,how do the residents of suburban villages feel about the current living environment and state of the village? How attached is it? What factors affect residents’ sense of attachment to the village? How will the characteristics of attachment affect the behavior of residents? The discussion of these problems is of great significance to the construction and development of suburban villages.Based on the literature review at home and abroad,humanistic place theory and behavioral geography theory,this study explores the characteristics,antecedent factors and consequences of place attachment of residents in suburban villages.First of all,this study constructed the environmental quality,local culture,service facilities,interpersonal relationships,social support,place dependence and place identity,residence will,build the theoretical model of nine variables involved in behavior,and in reference to the existing research achievements about place attachment,on the basis of the relationship between the variables assumptions;Secondly,three typical suburban villages in Jinhua city,Zhejiang Province were selected as case villages to issue questionnaires and obtain research data.A total of 251 valid questionnaires were collected.Finally,with the help of data analysis software SPSS22.0 and structural equation modeling software AMOS26.0,this paper builds structural equation model,variance analysis and comparative analysis to reach the conclusion of this study.The results show that:(1)The mean total score of place attachment of suburban residents was 3.54,which was in the middle level.From the perspective of two dimensions,the mean value of place dependence dimension is 2.69,lower than the total mean value of place attachment.The mean value of place identity dimension is4.09,which is higher than the mean value of place attachment and place dependence.Comparing villages with different distances from the city center,it was found that the closer the distance to the city,the lower the total mean value of place attachment.From two dimensions,in the dimension of local dependence,the level of functional dependence of residential villages increases with the distance to cities.In the dimension of local identity,the closer the distance to the city,the lower the level of local identity.This shows that the urbanization process has promoted the material progress of the village,but has severed the emotional connection between the residents and the village,resulting in the lack of residents’ sense of identity.(2)The environmental quality,facility service,interpersonal relationship and social support of suburban villages are the important influencing factors of residents’ place attachment,which have a significant positive impact on the dimensions of place dependence and place identity,and the facility service factor is the largest influencing path coefficient.(3)Residents with different gender,age,workplace,education level,residence time and occupation have differences in place attachment,while residents with different income levels have no significant differences in place attachment.(4)Residents’ place attachment has a direct effect on residents’ willingness to reside in the village and their participation in construction,and the effect on residents’ participation in construction is greater than their residence intention.(5)By exploring the influencing factors and mechanism of residents’ place attachment in suburban villages,combining with the development and construction of suburban villages,the author puts forward several suggestions to promote the construction and development of suburban villages from the perspective of residents’ place attachment: protecting and remodeling rural landscape and beautifying ecological environment;Strengthen the construction of village public space;Stimulate the vitality of village culture;Strengthen the construction of village infrastructure and improve residents’ living conditions;Multi-agent village management and participation. |
