| As is all known,education take the lead in the process of country revitalization.As the country attaches importance to rural education,the new college entrance examination and the new curriculum reform put forward higher requirements for senior high school teachers.The professional development of rural senior high school teachers plays an important role in the conducting of high-quality rural teachers’ group and the improvement of school-running quality,which directly affects the level of rural education.However,with a wide range of reasons,job burnout appears among rural senior high school teachers in real life.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the professional development motivation of rural senior high school teachers and their work enthusiasm.After reviewing and summarizing the relevant content of teachers’ professional development motivation,taken some rural senior high school teachers in Chaoyang district,Shantou city,Guangdong province as examples,the research is done through questionnaire,interview and other research methods to investigate the current situation and influencing factors of rural senior high school teachers’ professional development motivation.The two files are Questionnaire on the status of rural senior high school teachers’ professional development motivation and its influencing factors and The interview on the status of rural senior high school teachers’ professional development motivation.After data analysis of valid questionnaires and sorting out the content of the interview,the following conclusions are drawn: first,there are significant differences in the professional development motivation of rural senior high school teachers with different ages,educational backgrounds and teaching ages,while there are no significant differences in the professional development motivation of rural senior high school teachers with different genders,disciplines and professional titles;Second,the satisfaction of the current situation of rural senior high school teachers’ professional development motivation is between comparative dissatisfaction and general satisfaction.Third,among the factors that influence the professional development motivation of rural senior high school teachers,interpersonal relationship is the most satisfactory,and salary is the least satisfactory.Through the investigation,there are many factors influencing the rural senior high school teachers’ professional development motivation,including the mismatch between the contribution and income of rural high school teachers,the unreasonable evaluation of rural high school,the hard working environment of rural high school,the lagging management concept of some rural high school leaders,the weak awareness of rural high school teachers’ professional development and the narrow growth space of rural high school teachers.Based on the analysis of the above problems,the author puts forward the following countermeasures to optimize the professional development motivation of rural high school teachers: increasing the investment in rural education to ensure teachers’ salary and welfare;optimizing the teacher evaluation system to promote the professional development of teachers;creating a good campus environment to create a strong learning atmosphere;establishing the concept of people-oriented management to improve the development level of the school;strengthening the concept of professional development to realize the independent development of teachers;carrying out diversified teacher training to help teachers’ professional growth. |
