| Due to the limitation of the length of language textbooks,a large number of classic novels can only be selected into textbooks by way of excerpts or selections.A total of 14 novels were excerpted from the 6 sets of textbooks for junior high school Chinese,accounting for 70% of the total number of novels,which shows the importance of its status.Most of the excerpted novels in the junior high school Chinese textbooks are excerpted from the most wonderful and representative parts of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign excellent works,and the ideological connotations and artistic values contained in them play a role in improving students’ reading,writing,aesthetic ability,leading students from one to one and expanding students’ reading volume.As far as the teaching status of excerpted novels in junior high schools is concerned,the teaching of excerpted novels has problems such as simplifying texts and taking meanings out of context,resulting in the narrowing of the teaching content of excerpted novels,and teachers will inevitably fall into the situation of peeping in the tube if they only focus on the excerpts when teaching,resulting in a lack of breadth and depth in teaching.Therefore,this study starts from the concept of excerpted novels,relies on the compilation of junior high school language textbooks,and guides the concept of "reading the whole book",based on the genre of novels.First,sort out the excerpted novels in the textbook,and then explore the value of the excerpted novels from the artistic and teaching levels.Then,from theory to practice,it discusses the teaching status and teaching dilemma of excerpted novels in The Teaching of Junior High School Chinese in China,and puts forward feasible suggestions.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this study has four parts:The first part analyzes the selection and compilation of excerpted novels in the junior high school language textbooks,including the definition of the relevant concepts of the excerpted novels and the distribution of the excerpted novels in the junior high school language textbooks of the ministry.The second part analyzes the value of excerpted novels from junior high school language textbooks.It mainly clarifies the artistic value and educational value of excerpted novels,and further corroborates their value from the frequency and development trend of excerpted novels in the past ten years.The third part understands the current teaching status of excerpted novels through questionnaires and interviews,discovers the main problems in the teaching of excerpted novels,and analyzes the problems.The fourth part puts forward the corresponding suggestions for the problems existing in the teaching of excerpted novels.First of all,teachers should change the concept of isolated teaching and adopt a variety of methods to stimulate students’ interest in reading excerpted novels.Secondly,teachers should base on the excerpts,according to the excerpt attributes,unit objectives,determine the teaching focus.Then,on the basis of the excerpts,we should also explore the extended value of the excerpts.The excerpts use the characters connection method,plot series method and contextual root seeking method to drive the reading of the whole book.In the teaching method of excerpted novels,it is suggested that teachers adopt the comparative reading teaching method and the "1 X" group reading teaching method.Finally,on the basis of the analysis of the classic winning cases of famous teachers,taking Social Drama and Taking Wisdom as examples,the teaching contents of these two texts are analyzed and teaching design. |
