| Nowadays,the process of social information is accelerating,and the Internet has become an indispensable tool in the daily life of middle school students.Studies have shown that parental psychological control may be a factor influencing the occurrence of cyberbullying among middle school students,but the specific mechanism is not clear.Based on previous studies,this paper explores the relationship between parental psychological control and middle school students’ cyberbullying,and further clarifys the role of psychological resilience and hostility attribution in it.The present study used the Parental Psychological Control Scale,Cyberbullying Scale,psychological resilience questionnaire and hostility Attribution Scale.Cluster sampling method was adopted to select some middle school students from two schools in Nanyang City,Henan Province as a unit to participate in the study.A total of 844 valid questionnaires were collected.SPSS statistical software and PROCESS plug-in were used for descriptive analysis,independent sample T test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,mediation effect test and other data processing.The results show that:1.There are significant differences in parental psychological control among middle school students of different genders and grades,and there are significant differences in psychological resilience,hostility attribution and cyberbullying among middle school students of different grades.2.Parents’ psychological control,psychological resilience,hostility attribution and middle school students’ cyberbullying were significantly correlated.3.Psychological resilience plays an intermediary role in the relationship between parental psychological control and middle school students’ cyberbullying.4.Hostility attribution plays a mediating role in the relationship between parental psychological control and middle school students’ cyberbullying.5.Psychological resilience and hostility attribution play a chain mediating role between parental psychological control and cyberbullying.Parental psychological control significantly negatively predicted resilience,psychological resilience significantly negatively predicted hostility attribution,and hostility attribution significantly positively predicted cyberbullying.Based on the above research results,this study draws the following conclusions:Parental psychological control,psychological resilience,hostility attribution and middle school students’ cyberbullying are not only significantly correlated with each other,but also can affect the hostility attribution through the influence of parental psychological control on psychological resilience,and ultimately affect middle school students’ cyberbullying.Therefore,parents should pay attention to the adoption of good parenting methods,pay attention to the cultivation of children’s mental toughness,guide children to form a reasonable way of attribution,and avoid their cyberbullying behavior to others. |
