Research On Patriotic Education Function Of Campus Culture In Colleges And Universities

As an important part of socialist advanced culture,campus culture of colleges and universities has the function of patriotism education.In recent years,the Party and the state have attached great importance to the construction and development of campus culture.In2019,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the Outline for the Implementation of Patriotism Education in the New Era(hereinafter referred to as the Outline),stressing the need to vigorously promote the construction of civilized campuses,deepen the patriotic education function of the school motto and the history of the school,and organize colorful campus cultural activities.The Outline explains that campus culture is an important resource for patriotic education,and colleges should make full use of campus cultural resources to strengthen patriotic education for college students.At present,the research on campus culture in our country has obtained fruitful results,but in the practice of carrying out patriotic education with campus culture as the carrier,many problems restrict the function of patriotism education in campus culture appear.Therefore,it is necessary to put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,to correct the existing problems,to ensure that the patriotic education function of university campus culture is brought into full play,and to improve the effectiveness of patriotic education for university students.The text consists of an introduction and three chapters.The first chapter summarizes the concept,types and characteristics of campus culture.This paper combs the relationship between patriotic education and campus culture of college students and discusses the reasons why colleges and universities can rely on campus culture to carry out patriotic education.Finally,this paper expounds the concrete embodiment of patriotism education function of campus culture,which includes three aspects: value-oriented function,emotion stimulating function and behavior restraint function.The second chapter investigates the different dimensions of patriotic education function design in different aspects of campus culture.The results show that the current campus cultural activities play a positive role in guiding the concept of patriotism,cultivating the love of the motherland and restraining the irrational patriotic behavior of college students.However,there are still some problems in the process of exercising patriotic education function in five aspects of campus culture: material culture,spiritual culture,institutional culture,behavioral culture and network culture.Finally,the paper analyzes the causes of the deficiency of campus cultural patriotism education function,including macroscopic social environment and campus environment,and provides theoretical support for further research on the ways to bring campus cultural patriotism education function into play.The third chapter puts forward the principle and path of bringing into play the patriotic education function of campus culture.First of all,we should follow the principles of giving play to the patriotic education function of campus culture,including the principles of orientation,subjectivity,wholeness and development.Then we should promote the patriotic education function of campus culture from five aspects: material,spiritual,behavior,system and network.
