| Trust includes government trust,trust in public organizations,and general trust in society.It is an important force for maintaining social stability.In the era of digital media,the Internet has changed the way of social governance and the way of communication with the entire society.The trust relationship has transitioned to digital trust.The rapid spread of all kinds of inflammatory and negative information strongly impacts the trust system.This research focuses on a core research question: How do values,media types,and media use purposes affect government trust and social trust?The analysis of this issue can not only enrich the understanding of trust-related issues,but also help guide the public to rationally express their opinions through the media,correctly understand the society and engage in social participation in a reasonable manner,and enhance the level of trust.This study sorts out and reviews the past research from the perspectives of media use and social trust,media use and government trust,and measures media use from the aspects of media type and media use purpose,discuss the mediating role of authority obedience and equal values.This article divides the media in more detail,discussing the different effects of official media,overseas media and social media use on the trust of netizens.Taking the survey data of Internet users’ social awareness in 2017 as the object,through multiple linear regression and mediating effect analysis,Explore how values,media types,and purpose of media use have different effects on trust.Make recommendations for the improvement of trust.The study found that the use of official media has a significant positive impact on government trust,and it enhances government trust by strengthening obedience to authority and the concept of equality.The use of overseas media has a negative impact on the trust of the government.The overseas media dissolves the trust of the government by weakening the concept of equality,but the existence of authority obedience reduces part of the weakening effect.The use of media for social networking has a positive effect on government trust.It promotes government trust by strengthening the concept of equality,but its negative effect on authority obedience weakens part of the promotion effect.The use of official media and social media has strengthened social trust.The concept of equality played a part of strengthening.Overseas media use and media use for entertainment purposes completely eliminate social trust by weakening the awareness of equality.The use of media for social purposes strengthens social trust,and the awareness of equality has played a positive role in promoting.According to the analysis results of this article,the article mainly proposes the following suggestions for the improvement of government trust,social trust and media trust from the perspective of information contact and trust generation: construct an open and transparent information environment,improve people’s information cognition ability,cultivate the concept of equality and create a "social community";Shaping values and a positive government image through official media;Promote the transformation of acquaintance trust to general trust through social media.Strengthen the supervision of overseas media and entertainment media,check the content and quality of information,and reduce the promotion of inequality. |
