National standards and school education focus on cultivating talents with academic literacy and practical ability to meet the needs of the current society.Education has gradually developed from knowledge-oriented to quality-oriented and ability-oriented,focusing on the formation of students’ core literacy of disciplines,so as to cultivate their ability to understand the world and transform the world.As an important part of the natural subject,physics plays an important role in students’ understanding of nature and science.Therefore,it is particularly important to optimize the overall design of physics teaching and promote the formation of students’ scientific view.The theory of Backward Design proposed by Grant Wiggins and Jay Mc Tegger pay attention to the overall teaching effect of the unit,emphasizes the development of students’ big ideas and core literacy,and has a strong practical operation process and reference value.First of all,through the questionnaire to know the current situation of Backward Design and unit teaching,then analyze the problem.Secondly,the specific teaching design process is given around Backward Design.By sorting out the knowledge to form charts,refining the big questions and core concepts of the unit,the preliminary unit design is carried out to get the frame of Backward Design.Then the preliminary design is refined to make the threestage design of "set learning goals","set evaluation tasks" and "plan teaching process".In Phase 1:set learning goals stage,according to the big questions and core concepts,combined with specific knowledge points,the unit teaching objectives are classified into mastery knowledge(A),understanding meaning(M)and learning transfer(T)Coding to confirm the learning goals.In Phase 2:set evaluation tasks,different evaluation methods are set according to the learning goals,including real situation tasks and other evaluation tasks.A real situation task has a form to evaluate students.Teachers can observe students’ performance in different evaluation tasks to judge their mastery.In Phase 3:plan teaching process,main teaching process will be designed.Finally,a case design is formed by combining the specific units in the textbook.The research aims to clarify the steps and processes of Backward Design,and provide design references for teachers to optimize the teaching design process.Teachers can improve the ability teaching design and implement the core literacy of students.
