With the rapid development of economy since the 21st century,the use of intelligent terminals has brought a new office mode,which enables employees to work in a convenient mode via network without being limited to time and place.The outbreak of COVID-19 speeded this process as well.Work performance is always the focus of enterprises,however,work-family balance had also become the focus for both companies and individuals in the past few years.Work Connectivity Behavior After-hours will bring positive effects to employees and enterprises in a short term,even if it indeed improves work performance,but workload will cause much more consume of physical and psychological.Then,it will lead to negative impact on their subsequent behavior.So it is necessary to reconsider a new strategy in such a new background in order to keep a good relationship in work and family which is beneficial to increase organizational cohesion,minimize Work Family Conflict,and balance productivity and interests for company.Therefore,it has a big significance for both theoretical and practical sides to study the internal mechanism of personal emotion and family influence in the field of work.According to the work-family boundary theory,this study reviews the negative impact on Work Connectivity Behavior After-hours including the adverse impact on both work and family to explore the impact of Work Connectivity Behavior After-hours on Work Family Conflict.Based on the resource conservation theory,this paper tests the mediating effect of Emotion Exhaustion on Work Connectivity Behavior After-hours and Work Family Conflict,as well as the regulatory role of Work Family Segmentation Preference in it.Starting from the boundary theory,this paper tests whether Work Family Segmentation Preference has an effect on Work Connectivity Behavior After-hours and Work Family Conflict.Questionnaires of this study completed in two stages,a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed.All samples stem from different background employees or individuals in China.Finally,253 valid samples/questionnaires were collected.Through the collected valid questionnaires,the impact of connectivity behavior on Work Family Conflict in non working time has been further verified,and effects of simple or complex factors such as Emotion Exhaustion or Work Family Segmentation Preference,as well as subjective or objective factors has been imported.With the calculation and analysis of the sample,we test whether the hypothesi’s is true or false,and finally obtain a significant conclusion.We hope that this study will help management to make new strategy in the future for long-term development of enterprises under the enlightenment. |
