Study On The Influence Of Children’s Education On The Choice Of Migrant Work Sites Under The Background Of Childless

Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly.As the gap between urban and rural development level increases,a large number of rural labor choose to work outside.Migrant work has significantly improved the living standard,but also caused serious social problems,such as women,the elderly and children left behind,migrant workers face the balance between work and family.Due to the popular concept of fewer and healthier children,the problem of fewer children is serious,more families pay attention to the education of their children,and pursue the acquisition of quality educational resources and the increase of parents’ companionship.Solving the problem of long-term separation of families and promoting the healthy growth of children will not only promote family harmony,but also facilitate the smooth implementation of the three-child policy.Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance to analyze the characteristics of rural married people and study the influence of children’s education on farmers’ choice of working site.There are abundant studies on children’s education and labor mobility in previous literatures.In terms of children’s education,it focuses on the types,influencing factors and existing problems of children’s education.In terms of labor mobility,it mainly studies the characteristics,significance and influencing factors of labor mobility.The combination of the two focuses on the social problems of left-behind children and children of migrant workers,as well as the impact of family characteristics including children’s education on individual mobility.The help of the predecessors’ research,based on personal characteristics,family characteristics,community as a fixed variable,in the education stage in the family of children,children go to school stage,the lodging situation as explanatory variables,core research ’choose the characteristics of the married go out,and compared the analysis of the effect of their children’s education to the parents’ choice.Firstly,rural families with children in education and at least one of their parents choosing to work outside the home were selected as the research objects from the Database of Chinese Family Tracking Survey(CFPS)in 2018.Secondly,descriptive statistical analysis and multiple tests were performed on the data.Finally,multivariate ordered Logistic regression model is used to analyze the influence of children’s educational characteristics on parents’ career choice.The following conclusions are drawn: rural migrant workers tend to work in close distance,but their fathers are more likely to work outside and work farther away;The characteristics of children’s education mainly affect the mother’s distance from work.The more children in a family are in the stage of education,the closer the distance from work will be,while the higher the children go to school,the farther the distance from work will be.In the family,parents have different roles and complement each other.Fathers pay more attention to the results of their children’s education and the demand for funds for their children’s education.The higher the level of local economic development,the closer the distance between parents and migrant workers.Therefore,the need for the country to vigorously develop county economy to promote farmers doorstep employment;Balanced allocation of educational resources to promote educational equity;Reducing the stress of child-rearing and supporting women in employment;Husband and wife are encouraged to work with local areas to promote family harmony.
