In recent years, the competition of table tennis players from various countries has become increasingly fierce. In order to maintain the long-term prosperity of Chinese table tennis, the level of table tennis training in childhood is particularly important. With the continuous improvement of table tennis techniques and tactics, the forehand loop drive technique has highlighted its efficient and stable use value in major international table tennis competitions due to its strong rotation and powerful lethality. In this study,40 students with training years between 1-1.5 years in Erqi District Table Tennis Star Training Base of Zhengzhou City were selected for teaching experiment comparison. They were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,in which 20 students in the experimental group were trained with the additional device training method, and 20 students in the control group were trained with the traditional training method.Through the comparison and analysis of the data after the experiment,a discussion is made on the influence of the additional device training method on the students’ mastery of the forehand loop drive technique, providing a reference for improving the forehand loop drive technique level of children table tennis players. After 12 weeks of teaching experiments, through the analysis of the test data of various indicators after the experiment,it can be seen that, compared with the traditional training method, the additional device training method has a significant effect on improving the hitting rate, the continuity of hitting, the accuracy of hitting point and the hitting power of children table tennis players in the forehand loop drive technique. It is mainly manifested by that using metal composite material to increase the weight of bat so as to effectively exercise the upper limbs strength of children table tennis players and improve their hitting power of forehand topspin loop drive;raising the net height to strengthen the ability of children table tennis players to push and to create rotation so as to improve the hitting rate of the forehand underspin loop drive;widening the table to improve the movement ability of the footwork and the coordination ability of the upper and lower limbs of children table tennis players so as to improve the continuity of the forehand topspin loop drive;placing a marker tube on the opponent’s table to strengthen the ability of children table tennis players to adjust and control the landing point so as to improve the accuracy of the hitting point of forehand loop drive.Childhood is the “golden period” for learning the forehand loop drive technique.Using scientific and effective training methods to enable children table tennis players to learn and master this technique as soon as possible can not only improve their training efficiency, but also shorten their training cycle. Moreover,it can improve the hitting quality of the forehand loop drive technique of children table tennis players, and lay a solid technical foundation for the rational application of techniques and tactics in future competitions. The additional device training method has a significant effect in cultivating and stimulating the training interest of children table tennis players, and improving students’ special physical fitness and basic table tennis techniques.Having selected clear and real training objects, adopted continuous and full training time, and used innovative training and verification methods to a certain extent, the conclusions of this study are scientific and reliable, which has enriched the training theory and technique of Chinese children table tennis players and can provide a scientific guidance for forehand loop drive training for 7-9-year-old children table tennis players.
