The purpose of this study is to compare the different effects of different duration of moderate intensity physical exercise on the physical health and physical self-esteem of Tibetan middle school students,and try to find a reasonable duration to enhance physical health and improve physical self-esteem,so as to provide a positive reference for the front-line physical education workers in high-altitude Tibetan areas.This study adopts the method of literature,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics,the Duilong Deqing District Lhasa area eight grade junior high school of 90 students,respectively with different length of the intensity of exercise intervention experiment,experiment the length of time respectively accounted for 40%,50%,60%of the single PE lesson,namely,for 16 minutes,20 minutes,24 minutes,medium intensity exercise heart rate is 130~160 times/min,the experimental intervention for 10 weeks,the physical health of all subjects before and after the experiment index and physical self-esteem index test,and then work up the data of the test and statistical analysis.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)Physical exercise with a moderate-intensity heart rate of 130~160 times/min,three times a week and more than 16 minutes each time can promote the physical health and physical self-esteem of Tibetan middle school students.(2)More than 40%of the total time of a single physical education class(namely 16min)can significantly improve the middle and long-distance running performance of Tibetan middle school students;More than 50%(namely 20min)can significantly improve the lower limb explosive power,speed quality and vital capacity of Tibetan middle school students.At the same time,60%of the total time(namely 24min)has the best effect on improving the performance of lower limb explosive power and vital capacity of Tibetan middle school students.There was no significant effect on the body mass index,flexibility and muscle endurance of Tibetan middle school students.(3)Moderate-intensity physical exercise time accounting for more than 40%of a single physical education class time(namely 16min)has a significant effect on the overall physical self-esteem of Tibetan middle school students;50%(namely 20min)can significantly improve the self-worth and athletic ability of Tibetan middle school students.60%(namely 24min)can significantly improve the physical attractiveness and physical quality of Tibetan middle school students.Meanwhile,60%of the total time(namely 24min)had the best effect on the overall improvement of Tibetan middle school students’ sense of self-worth,athletic ability and physical self-esteem.And different duration of moderate intensity physical exercise has no ’significant effect on the physical condition dimension of Tibetan middle school students.
