Study On Coach’s Behavior And Effect At The Decisive Moment Of The Basketball Match

With the continuous improvement of basketball sports level and the continuous improvement of competition rules,the overall progress of basketball players’ physical quality and technical ability,and the gradual enrichment of technical and tactical system,modern basketball has been constantly developed and improved in its external form and connotation.In the high-level competition,it is no longer just a simple confrontation between the players of both sides on one court with their competitive ability,but a game between the two sides in all aspects of the competition.The level of intelligence between coaches,on-the-spot adaptability,the ability to control the game and so on have become the key factors to determine the outcome of the game.The Chinese team in the 2019 FIB A Basketball World Cup occupy theright time and place,but the overall performance of the team is not satisfactory,there are many problems exposed in the process of the game,especially in the coach’s command and decision-making.This article uses the literature method,video observation,expert interview method,mathematical statistics,case analysis,induction and other research methods,through to research coaches’behavior at the decisive moment of 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup matches,analysis of classic cases,explore the coaching behavior in the last five minutes coaches,try to find the common features and some of the personalized operation,to summarize the characteristics of the coaches in the decisive moment,for the on-the-spot coaching of basketball coaches at all levels in our country especially in the processing of the last five minutes to provide the reference,enhance the level of coaching and rich experience in the face.The conclusions are as follows:(1)With the passing of the game time,coaches will have more command intervention on the team,and the game between coaches of both sides will be more frequent.Among the three stages at the decisive moment of the game,the end stage is the core stage of the moment,in which coaches use the most frequently coaching behavior and means;The second is the first stage;And the intermediate stage is more inclined to the transitional stage,to prepare for the final confrontation between the two coaches in the decisive stage.(2)As the main way for coaches to command the team in the on-the-spot coaching,timeout is limited by the total number of timeouts and rules at the decisive moment of the game,so coaches will have more consideration.The use of timeouts in the end stage can get a better effect,but the use of timeouts in the first stage has a worse effect;In the end stage,the effect of using pause when the score is leading is better than that when the score is lagging.(3)Substitution is the main behavior of coaches to adjust their line-up and change tactics in the presence of on-site command.It is not affected by the number of uses and is more flexible.The coach’s substitutions mainly focus on the adjustment of small squad,there will not be a large range of substitutions.Making changes when you are ahead can be counterproductive,whereas making changes when you are behind can have a positive effect.Frequent substitutions in desperate situations could work wonders.(4)Experienced coaches will use language,body movements and other behaviors to assist on-the-spot coaching at the decisive moment of the game.Communicating with players on the field is the most frequent behavior of coaches in the process of on-the-spot coaching,which can directly give feedback to players on the field;Communication with team members reflects the cooperation ability of the coach team and improves the decision-making efficiency of coaches;To communicate with the referee and the record desk is not only a challenge and test for the psychological bottom line of both sides,but also one of the special means to regulate the players’ emotions.(5)The factors influencing the coach’s coaching behavior at the decisive moment include the coach’s ability structure;The state of the players on the field,including physical state,mental state and foul state of the game;The objective environment of the game,such as the rules of the game,the place of the game,the point difference,the remaining time of the game,etc.The factors affecting the coach’s coaching effect at the last moment include the coach’s decision-making ability,the player’s execution,the objective environment of the match and the game confrontation between the coaches.
