Research On Xi Jinping’s Important Discussion On Respecting And Protecting Human Rights

Inherited and innovated the centennial human rights thought of the CPC,absorbed the human rights concept in China’s excellent traditional culture,put forward a series of important statements on respect and protection of human rights,profoundly and systematically answered a series of major questions about respect and protection of human rights in China in the new era,clearly expounded the basic connotation of the concept of human rights with Chinese characteristics,and provided scientific guidance for adhering to the path of human rights development in China.This article clearly analyzes the historical,theoretical,and practical context of its formation and development.This paper systematically combs and summarizes them from five aspects: following the path of human rights development with Chinese characteristics,a comprehensive human rights protection system based on the right to survival and development,respecting and protecting the human rights of specific groups,strengthening the protection of human rights by law,and participating in global human rights governance,and discusses the concept of upholding the leadership of the CPC and people centered human rights Combining the principle of universality of human rights with China’s specific reality is the fundamental principle of adhering to the path of human rights development with Chinese characteristics;A comprehensive human rights system that includes respecting and safeguarding the primary human rights of the right to survival and development,first safeguarding the right to life and health of the people,and coordinating and comprehensively developing the economic,political,cultural,social,and environmental rights of the people;Emphasizing the need to always adhere to the protection of human rights for specific groups such as women,children,ethnic minorities,the elderly,and people with disabilities;Adhering to the rule of law,strengthening the protection of human rights and the rule of law from all aspects of legislation,judiciary,law enforcement,and compliance,emphasizing the human rights principles of the Constitution and the key role of the Civil Code;Promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind,promote the formation of a global human rights governance pattern of diverse and co governance,respect the development path of human rights in various countries,actively participate in global human rights governance,and provide Chinese wisdom and solutions.
