Study On Peasant Survival Culture And Political Behavior Under The Informal Institution

The informal institution is an important rule that people gradually form in the process of long-term practice and restrict the behavior of social members.As a kind of informal system,culture can influence people’s behavior imperceptibly,among which“Survival culture” is a kind of value concept aiming at survival,and also belongs to the category of informal institution,to a certain extent,it affects the social order in rural areas and the behavior of farmers.This paper with the perspective of "survival culture",trying to explain in the process of rural urbanization,survival culture in the absence of formal accountability system and informal accountability system of rural society step by step influence the behavior of the villagers and village cadres behavior logic,and under the logic of the two and how to interact,and affect the villagers’ political participation behavior,keep the development of rural society relatively stable state.Based on the field survey of Wangwu village in Guangdong province,this paper starts with the practical problems in the urbanization process of Wangwu village,and combines the relevant theories of culture and system,this paper analyzes the influence and logical evolution of survival culture on the behavior of villagers and village cadres.The first is to describe the process of cognitive changes and corresponding behavioral changes of villagers and village cadres in Wangwu village,Guangdong province,under the background of urbanization,and the second is to explain how the concept of survival has a lasting impact on the behavior of village members,that is,for the sake of survival,the villagers choose to be more silent when their interests are violated by the village cadres.In order to survive better in the village,the village cadres take part of the responsibility on their own initiative in order to gain the villagers’ approval,this makes villagers and village cadres reach a consensus of survival,to take the act of not offending each other.Third,rise to the region in the social and historical changes in the formation of survival culture,further analysis of how culture affects the behavior of villagers and village cadres,at the same time,it explains the function mechanism and logic of the survival culture to the villagers and the village cadres.Through the research,it is found that the function of survival culture comes from People’s need for survival,which is essentially a drive of values,in order to avoid falling into an uncertain situation,villagers and village cadres reach a consensus of“Don’t offend each other”and form the“Belief theory”that people should deal with the uncertain environment.Therefore,survival culture can be used as a social stabilizer,maintain the development of the rural society is relatively stable state,so in the process of the clan region urban village transformation governance should not only attach importance to the role of cultural level,more to strengthen the construction of ideology,change the traditional cognitive structure of rural social survival culture,promote the survival of the new era of positive health culture construction and development.
