| The reserve force is an integral part of the PEOPLE’s Liberation Army,the backbone of national defense mobilization,and an important national defense force fulfilling the missions and tasks of "four strategic supports".Accelerating the reform and development of the PLA reserve forces is of great significance to overcoming the "last mile" in the battle for reform,realizing the Party’s goal of building a strong military in the new era,and building the people’s armed forces into world-class forces in all respects.After nearly 40 years of construction and development,the PLA Reserve force has become an important armed force composed of various services and arms.It has played an important role and made remarkable achievements in strengthening national defense and supporting local areas.However,there is still a big gap between the reserve forces and those of the world’s major military powers,which is manifested in the unreasonable size and structure,the unsmooth command and management system,the imperfect guarantee and the unscientific composition of the personnel.How to solve the above problems,promote the construction and development of the PLA reserve forces to achieve a new leap,and realize the system,structure,pattern and appearance of the PLA reserve forces to take on an entirely new look,is an important problem and practical subject urgently needed to be solved at present and related to the overall construction of the national defense forces.Based on marxist military thoughts especially Xi Jinping army thought as a fundamental to follow,comb summary to the history,development,and the reserve force construction main achievements,the analysis pointed out that the current contradictions existing in the development of the reserve force construction problems,discussed the main methods of foreign reserve force construction enlightenment and reference,The general idea of promoting the overall revolutionary remodeling of the PLA reserve force was put forward,and policy suggestions were put forward for speeding up the reform and construction of the PLA reserve force in the new era. |
