Research On Zhou Enlai’s United Front Thought During The Anti-japanese War

In the 1930 s,the difficult War of Resistance against Japan was one of the most significant historical events in China in modern times.Its victory greatly contributed to the awakening of the Chinese nation and the unprecedented unity of the whole nation,changing the fate and future of the Chinese nation.Among them,Zhou Enlai’s skillful application of the united front ideology played an important role in the victory of the war against Japan.Based on the history of the development of the content of Zhou Enlai’s united front ideology,this study examines his united front theory and analyzes its historical role and contemporary value.Thus,its usefulness in promoting the construction of the Party’s united front,promoting deeper reforms and building a strong socialist country in all aspects is explored in the context of the new era,in order to study and pass on and carry forward in depth.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which firstly outlines the purpose and significance of the study,and summarizes and composes the current status of domestic and international research.It explains the research ideas and the research methods adopted,such as documentary research method,comprehensive analysis method and interdisciplinary method.The second part is an overview of Zhou Enlai’s united front ideology during the War of Resistance.It is mainly analyzed from two aspects: theoretical foundation and historical background.Zhou Enlai in his adolescence knew how to make peace and unite people around him,which made his united front ideology sprout early.Later,under the difficult and dangerous conditions of the war,Zhou Enlai used his excellent united front wisdom to lead his compatriots in the war,based on the actual situation at that time,and relied on the strength of all classes to create one victory after another on the united front battlefield,and in this process forged the valuable united front thought of Zhou Enlai during the war against Japan.The third part composes and discusses the main contents of Zhou Enlai’s united front thought.Zhou Enlai discusses the idea of leadership,the complexity of composition,local power factions,united front working institutions and the cultural united front of the war of resistance,summarizing the unique Zhou Enlai’s united front thought during the war of resistance against Japan.The fourth part of the discussion analyzes the historical contribution and contemporary value of Zhou Enlai’s united front thought.It is proposed that Zhou Enlai’s united front thought during the Anti-Japanese War helped the development of the united front cause of the Communist Party of China and played an important role in the victory of the Chinese nation in the Anti-Japanese War,while contributing ideas and wisdom to the new journey of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country in the new era.
