Education is the key to a hundred-year plan.Education is a matter of personal,national and social development.As the biggest project of people’s livelihood,education has a strategic position of priority development in China.Education equity is the foundation of education development,and it is of great significance to improve people’s well-being,promote social equity,and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper studies the theoretical origin,main content,essential features,value and significance of Xi Jinping’s important thesis on educational equity from the context of China’s education,with a view to providing some benefits for relevant academic research.The first chapter is an introduction,which clarifies the background and significance of this paper,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research ideas and methods,and innovations and shortcomings,and lays the foundation for the beginning of this paper by reviewing the existing research results.Chapter 2 defines the relevant concepts and theoretical sources of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity,clarifying the basic concepts of equity,educational equity and Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity;combing through the theoretical sources of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity,including the educational equity ideas of three classic Marxist writers,Marx,Engels and Lenin,the educational equity ideas of Chinese Communist Party leaders and The theoretical origins of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity include the ideas on educational equity of three classic Marxist writers,Marx,Engels and Lenin,the ideas on educational equity of Chinese Communist Party leaders and the ideas on educational equity in traditional Chinese culture.Chapter 3 summarizes the main contents and characteristics of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity,and this chapter is an important chapter of this paper.Starting from the three interpretive dimensions of education,i.e.,the starting point of education,the process of education and the equity of education results,the scientific connotation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on educational equity is analyzed,including the essential provision of running education to the satisfaction of the people,the fundamental task of implementing moral education,the basic standard of promoting educational equity and quality improvement,and the action policy of running education rooted in the Chinese land,and the summary of the key features including practicality,innovation,scientificity,It summarizes the five main characteristics of education,including practicality,innovation,science,modernity,and people’s character.Chapter 4 is the value and significance of Xi Jinping’s important statement on educational equity.The theoretical value is that it enriches Marxist educational educational equity thought,deepens the CPC’s exploration of educational equity and improves Xi Jinping’s socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The practical significance is that it is conducive to the implementation of education to alleviate poverty,achieve comprehensive human development and promote the realization of social justice.Chapter 5 provides practical measures to implement Xi Jinping’s important thesis on education equity,including adhering to the Party’s overall leadership of education,adhering to the work idea of improving quality and promoting balance,adhering to education informatization and building a high-quality teaching force,and adhering to education precision poverty alleviation.
