A Study On The Breeding Process Of National Thoughts In Chinese New Democracy Culture(1919-1924)

The new democratic cultural nationality thought is the result of the long-term exploration of the Chinese Communists during the new democratic revolution.The final point of view is condensed in the text group centered on "On New Democracy",and its conception is greatly influenced by the many cultural debates between the East and the West during 1919-1924.During the period of New Culture Movement from 1919 to 1924,with the introduction of Western advanced cultural thoughts brought about by the new ideological movement,the double influence of the movement of respecting Confucius and restoring Confucius and the "Oriental culture fever" in the western ideological circle,a series of debates broke out on the East and West cultural issues in different forms,different positions and different scales.Chen Duxiu,Li Dazhao,Qu Qiubai and other Chinese Communists completed the transformation from new culture people to historical materialist intellectuals,and gradually changed from the improvement of the old culture and the introduction of new thoughts to the cultural nationality problem under the guidance of Marxism in the debate on East-West cultural issues.The new democratic cultural nationality thought was also proposed and thought at this stage.And in the process of debate formed the rudiment of views and exploration trend.The debate on East and West cultural issues involves a number of different cultural perspectives,different cultural factions and different ideological dimensions.It mainly aims at the relevant issues of the two dimensions of "old and new" and "east and west" in the cultural national issues.As for "new and old",the early new culture people advocated the vernacular movement and literary revolution,refuting the wrong views of the cultural retro school;On "East and West",Chen Duxiu and Du Yaquan had a pen war with New Youth and Oriental Magazine in the early stage and criticized cultural reconcilialism.The late historical materialist school and the scientific Method school formed a united front,and the "Modern Neo-Confucianism School" represented by Liang Shuming and the "metaphysical school" represented by Liang Qichao and Zhang Junmai broke out the debate on the Culture and Philosophy of the East and the West.In this period,the conception of the cultural nationality of the new democracy was completed.In this process,the historical materialists used the universal principles of Marxism to comment and refute their views,and formed the national cultural view in the early stage of the new Democratic revolution.Based on Marxist materialist dialectics and historical materialism,this paper uses historical research method and literature research method to restore the historical field of the East-west cultural issues debate in the circle of Chinese cultural thought from 1919 to1924,so as to explore the transformation and development process of the cultural nationality thought of new democracy in this process.Then the stage characteristics and viewpoint trend of the incubation process of the new democracy and justice national cultural thoughts are extracted.
