Research On Improving College Students' Employability Based On Marx's Theory Of All-round Development Of Human Being

In recent years,the difficult employment problem of college students has become a widespread concern in society.According to the latest statistics issued by the Ministry of Education,the number of college graduates in China is expected to reach 11.58 million in 2023,another record high.The expansion of higher education has led to the devaluation of academic qualifications,which has become a major trend.The competitive advantage of higher education in the job market is not as strong as before,which has multiplied the employment pressure of college graduates.The economic downturn due to the continuation of the new crown epidemic for three years has added a new negative effect to the employment issue,and university graduates are facing the dilemma and challenge of employment difficulties.Employment is the biggest livelihood,the key to economic development and social stability,and it is very urgent to solve the employment problem.One of the reasons for the employment difficulties is the lack of employability of university students.Therefore,attention should be paid to enhancing the employability of university students.The people-oriented concept embedded in the Marxist theory of comprehensive human development coincides with the solution of the livelihood problem of university students’ employment difficulties.Taking the Marxist theory of comprehensive human development as the guide,we study the path to realize the improvement of university students’ employability,crack the problem of employment difficulties and promote economic development and the smooth operation of society.Firstly,this paper outlines and summarises the background and significance of the research on this topic,the current situation of the research,the innovation points and the research methods in the introductory part.Secondly,the relevant concepts are defined and Marx’s theory of comprehensive human development and its innovative development in China are discussed.After that,on the basis of analysing the factors affecting the employability of university students,the guiding significance of Marx’s theory of comprehensive human development for the enhancement of university students’ employability is summarised.Then,it summarises the achievements made in enhancing the employability of university students as well as their current problems and analyses their causes.Finally,according to these problems and causes,the paths to enhance the employability of university students from the perspectives of the government,universities,society and individuals are elaborated.The scientific theory of Marx’s comprehensive human development is used to guide the enhancement of university students’ employability,which can effectively enhance the employability of university students,alleviate employment pressure,promote social harmony,and provide strong support and guarantee for the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
